When I purchased the Yamaha MODX+ I took the Audio Beat Sync feature with a grain of salt. The promise of syncing arps and patterns to a drummer without the need to set up a click was pretty compelling and I'd seen the demo videos from Yamaha ... but they are demo videos from Yamaha. So I recently had a chance to test it out at a gig. I recorded it and I can share the results with you. This is a cover of Stereophonics' Dakota - it's a great song - performed in a bar with a real crowd. Let's see how this goes!
