had 200fps 2 months ago and now 30

You must understand all of you is gest business cs2 they make you or to buy a new pc or to upgrade buy new cpu etc

i have every setting on low and shitty resolution my pc is a laptop with an rtx 2070 and i7 10th i have like 50 fps is this normal?

I have RX 6600 XT 8GB sapphire 32gb ram and ryzen 5 2600 3.60Ghz and im happy when I have more than 100fps on ultra low or ultra high details even when I switch from full hd to 4:3 fps dont changed, Whats the freaking problem? Im tired af when I have more fps in hogwarts legacy than in cs2 :D I have 144hz monitor and playing cs2 on it with 70-130fps and against bots its crazy

My cs2 starts off at a GOOD 180 fps on highest settings, but towards the end of the match it is barely giving me 80. this is definitely not my computer's fault because throughout hours of session on cyberpunk I am at a stable 100 fps which does not drop, No idea why cs2 would do this

I get like 300-400 fps on 5800x3d my cpu usage os way higher lile 30% and yes that is nore them one core, what hinders the fps from going higher is my 2080 100 %usage all the time

In your case -threads (number your Cores + 1 ) in Launch parameters

Used to get 450+ in CS1.....In CS2 i get barely 80 plus on the same exact set up

i have i5 10400f rx 6600 i play 1440p everything low i get 220 to 150 fps in other maps but other youtubers have more with lower gpu and sam cpu how is this possible i mean is my cpu with 6 cores enough for cs2 and how can i fix input lag ?

Still runs like shit, the only real way to get frames is to get a new cpu, that's it. There is absolutely no other fix to this.

im runnin i7 11 gen with rtx 3050 used to get 250+ fps before but recently whenever i log into a game after a couple min it goes unpreditively low like 30 -40 and again it goes like 140, Its fluctuates likes crazy. This sucks

i played csgo at 30 fps all settings lowest possibpe, lowest resolution. now that they replaced it with cs2 i get 2fps on lowest settings and was not playable, so i had to give up and delete the game.

CS2 is badly optimized. Valve needs to work hard on that. Also if you're looking to build a PC for CS2,make sure it has the new Ryzen x3d CPU. The reason is the L cache is about 3 times more than that of the older Ryzen CPU's...For instance Ryzen 5 5600 has 36 mb of L cache,while the Ryzen 5 5600x3d has 96 mb of L cache....

i had same fps problem in l4d2 but when i enabled multicore rendering i had stable good fps, when i faced the same problem in cs2 i checked for the same option but it was not there!

From "damn, why can't I get 260fps all the time" to "damn, why can't I get 165fps all the time" in less than a year

Hi bro! u have to put -Threads X (number of cores +1) in my case it would be -Threads 9 (8 core 16 threads cpu) It works for me. or you can Type Sys_Info in console and in line that says "Engine Thread pool" it might say your number of Cores. hope it helps u!

The real question is if Windows 10/11 if messing with core affinity. If the scheduler is being overused by one application, or bottlenecking, you couldn't control for this with SMT on or off.
