I have to say im impressed you kept the wheel base stock , very good job , most builds they chop and extended the body , i used a escalade body and 110 atv frame that i chopped and modified , but kept tye body stock ...

yes, it is some idea worth to excist, hypothetically say, it is a camera mount? the execution of design of cause need some improvements. say, is it that good to use some stiff quick movements to cancel the position change of an object? that's a steering servo, so where is the absolute reference point you want it to stay? and the feed back frequency? (hard to explain in one sentence. check dapra chicken neck observation footage, chicken can stabilize their head even blindfold) that's probably what you need and try to build.😁

Elevation, angle and position of the cameras in the arena will be much more better if adopted from soccer's. In general, this is a great video, specially with no ads that ussually sucks data by force.

Personally I would have welded every interior corner of the chassis along with the bolts. Also do you use heli thread in the aluminum because aluminum fails easier than u would think when u use aluminum threads. Cool bot.

Makes me want to get into this stuff, just a shame I dont have the money, the equipment, or a team for it.

I am shocked you used aluminum for a frame... especially upfront.. some good ol hardened steel would have done much better. the good bots are using tips on the spinners that basically could be used to machine aluminum.

All I’m saying is you weld a Milwaukee angle grinder to some c-channel off a 1996 ram 1500 and then bolt some wheels to the c-channel. You power the wheels using the motors for the windows from the 1996 ram and then power the whole contraption with some 18v 12amp hour high output batteries from Milwaukee and then just fuckin send it bud
