Instead of trying to find ways to make it easy to swap out a fried component, you really should be spending that effort trying to figure out why it's frying and add protection measures to just stop it happening instead. Frankly, if you have to replace mosfets on a regular basis, that's a clear indication that your circuit is just plain badly designed. If your problem is back-EMF or voltage spikes, an extra shunt diode or zener to protect the mosfet is likely all that's really required.

To be honest, I really don't see the point to this whole contraption. Why not just hook the battery up directly to the battery charger (since, you know, that's exactly what the device is designed to do anyway)? It is guaranteed to be more efficient that way, and would probably charge faster too.

@make425 I think the gate fried if you had the resistor in that I sent in the circuit board. You have the right resistor in it now just monitor the heat on that resistor and adjust it to more resistance if getting warm or lower resistor a hair if stays cool. Ya and it's running better now. Moved the timing to the outer center magnets. Still needs refining, but it's running good. Can't Express how much I'm loving the circuit Bud😊 . I'll be ready to bump it up to 24 volt after I rewire the other turbine. I want to run through all the 12 volt tests again before changing the input voltage. I already know that I need to be above 18 volts to get good output from the rpms. And the circuit seems to run the motor fine at 9.5 volt half amp. So it definitely doesn't need 12 volt. Thanks again bud and you have an awesome circuit.
