Great discussion!
One of the very few people to not be swayed by mobs, even when they overtake a movement he helped begin
35:32 love that Ryan always finds a way to show respect for R.G.
Great podcast. Im currently reading his book.
27:00 Hey Scott! As long as you're giving money away, why don't you send some my way?
Scott was a notorious womanizer in college. Now, he wants to criticize the 'manosphere'. Typical lefty.
It is okay, people do not have to have affordable housing or extra cash at the end of the month to afford anything besides necessities. Just don't expect us to have kids or defend the country when anything happens. The apathy goes both ways
Great 🎉
This is great advice!
Galloway pretends there is no Dark side to female nature and his scrutiny towards women is non-existent..He is clearly a male feminist with no credibility. He also attends safe zones where he won't be challenged..He is basically a coward...
This was a very valuable podcast and I’m glad I listened. Got a like from me. I’m almost convinced by a more progressive tax system above a certain point of income, I just know the government will wipe their ass with it. But it would be encouraging to see more charity from super high earning people
Non la foi n'est pas croire sans preuve, c'est l'expérience indicible du divin, une intuition évidente absolue qui n'a besoin de preuve mais qui reste incommunicable. Je ne parle pas des textes sacrés qui sont une formulation approximative du sacré.
50 yo divorced guy here. I have always been a hard worker. I’ve been working since I was 8, parents owned a hotel. All I know is work, I use to work 7 days a week in the Summer with no real vacation or break. I have not seen or heard from my children since the divorce back in 2020. I work extra so I don’t spend time by myself. I also don’t bc I am an eye doctor that wants to help. It is my calling ever since my eye doctor Dr. Martin inspired me in the 8 grade. I graduated in 2003 . If I spend time at home, I’m more likely to buy car parts and maybe even a project car. I have 3 cars, 2 are cars I repaired and put back on the road.
Dawkins is a shallow meaningless materialist who thinks there’s nothing beyond the material world. There’s more to life than just the material world. There’s the spiritual/psychological world of morality, what we hold as sacred and divine. Dawkins is really boring and mundane who only relies on his perverted eyesight. None of the great civilisations were atheists, they thought way beyond their punitive materialistic eyesights
These 2 clowns are so woke.
Great collaboration! I hope to see more content featuring the two of you in the future. Thanks for this.
Galloway is never challenged

¿Fumas tabaco?. Gracias.

Richard Dawkins is detestable.
43:00 Anymore... unless its explicitly broken down... I equate "single parent household" with "single mother". And it's the so called "man-osphere" that is explicitly discussing how crippeling it is for a boy to be raised only by a single mother. We had a family doctor years ago who said..."a single mother CANNOT raise a boy into a man" But this subject is prohibited from being discussed for politically correct reasons.
If I may, do you have a solution to this? Are we to require single mothers to get hitched upon husband death?
@@Ketocheeto20Scott G.’s view is that socially and economically secure men should become involved with a young male who isn’t their own. Mentorship is what he is advocating. So that would take a change in mindset from both sides. First people like me have to take that seriously and understand the responsibility (but also potential reward) that has and offer to be a male role model. Then the mother has to be open to allowing that person to be a role model to their son. I only have daughters, so the concept is becoming more appealing to me.
Love this… not sure i define gratitude and appreciation as you, but understand the nuance you are trying to convey.
lol i had to quit because i worked in a cancer clinic and they were messing up big time. i only have an associates but my boss was on her phone 4 hours of the day. tons of stuff went wrong nurses didnt know what they were doing. when i got there they were going to fail inspection i fixed it and then as soon as the inspection was over they reverted to their old ways. it was so upsetting. i tried telling the higher ups and they didnt seem to care. so i quit. i let them all know what they were doing might get someone killed one day and left. then they lose all my continuing education information so now i have to wait for license. ugh. hopefully next hospital i end up at isnt like that. sad when i know more about running a lab then my higher ups and because i dont have the degree i lack the authority to enforce what i know. ugh need to get my bachelors. then i can smack down the law. and its mostly occuring because people arent as invested in society anymore. many feel like they are getting screwed anyway so why try so hard. corporate america is killing peoples work ethics. they feel screwed over and used. they feel corporate america sees them as dispensible and replaceable. not to mention the constant inflation that cuts at any gains they make from pay raises. my last job i got a 1 raise but inflation made it so i still lost value and my money was worth less. then they hear the wealth gap is increasing and they get upset at that. they feel like idiots. and they complain about it and then their work ethics suffer next thing you know a job is just a paycheck. show up clock out fuck the company cause they obviously dont give a fuck about me. its the rhetoric of society these days specifically at the bottom. pretty certain its not as heavy middle class and up but i bet its still present to some degree. nurses writers and the like strike too. most places i work though the outlook for the workers is bleak.
Dawkins being Dawkins.
Ryan it's not about doing things, it's about who you become. I am with Sam on non doing. We are human beings not human doings. Ryan I do follow you, I am interested in stoicism and discipline.
awesome crossover!
Great interview, you can tell he actually enjoyed talking to you
How does this have 600 views
My only issue with Biden was his inability to hold to his red line. He should have made the red line sooner but when he did and didn't enforce it and Israel kept committing genocide I thought he made a fool out of us all. Then again given that Trump is in Power again I have to say maybe it's just a reflection of the state of America. We haven't learned from our mistakes as much as I thought that's all. I jump into comment sections as if they agoras or marketplaces and I give out gifts. Lol corrupter of the youth ne. 14:26 in the past yes. Now its more a matter of cause and effect. So who your friends parents etc where. How each person you interact with has their own branches of causes and effects. At the individual level it appears fast and fluid. On the level of society it is rigid and slow. Lots of americans still think that people of color should just forgive and forget but never realize that comes with its own history of causes and effects. Take palestine and israel. Each one sees the other as the enemy due to what was perpetrated on them. And america was actually what started nazi ideaology. Eugenics and i.q. were utilzed by the u.s. first to excuse all kinds of behavior. So an inability to see the past correctly and to learn from it is the issue. Its why america was on the side of south afriicaaners when they oppressed south africans and why they side with israel now. Cause and effect on a society moves slow and is not as fluid as one would think. The internet has sped things up by acting as a node for people to gwther in. They allow for digital agoras to flourish and people from all kinds of places can join them. 18:00 the antidote to that problem is to focus on teaching critical thinking skills and imparting a scientific spirit to the endeavor. So human brings are naturally imbued with this scientific spirit. They lick things they jump in the mud they try to climb the shelves. But we beat it out of them. So we need to put it back in them so they can be who they were meant to be. Individual and spontaneous. So I have done some teaching. No one sticks around. I push them away. Because once they have it they have to apply it. Each group gets its own time and I dip. But now I'm testing new things. My cycle of teaching is over. But I have knowledge to share. I will settle down once these people give me my license to practice medicine and I can get back to work. But yeah they had it to begin with. And then cause and effect took it from them. 20:00 Hm... that should not technically ever occur. Only in one facet. Like there can be one person great at one facet but not in all. So whats actually occuring in such a situation is that it highlights a lack of critical thinking skills not knowledge acquired. So I can have a small bit of knowledge and use it more effectively then someone with lots of knowledge if I have a holistic view of it and they don't. Doesn't mean I know much I just utilize it more efficiently. If they can learn critical thinking skills they will squash me like a bug. The old man does it all the time. Meditators are better at it but our scientific eye focuses on the subjective part of experience. The west uses the scientific eye that focuses on the objective part of reality. They both use the same methods. It's how I arrived at my own methodology. In this video he explains how mindfulness causes a shift in how knowledge is acquired and in how knowledge is perceived and utilized. Even I martial arts or cooking rhe scientific method holds. This is because humans love to fuck around and find out. We are naturally this way until it's beat out of us or we are not taught how to be more mindful and open to experience. ruclips.net/video/7Pxagzhf_bY/видео.htmlsi=5cBeKdPRnqkg_a8C 24:00 so in the end when it comes to the internal subjective aspect of science there is not master of world there is mastery of self and i am no slave and neither are you. Each learns to listen to the other and neither pushes on the other but both explain their point of view. If one is not as sure of themselves as the other then it can get wierd. Generally speaking thats time for the master to be mindful. Generally speaking. I find myself in a special circumstance and find myself testing a new agora. I do this usually during stop gaps in life. So usually a few months and then years go by. ruclips.net/video/8P_4DcNMKZ8/видео.htmlsi=6f5ZqNMZUf4eaj4t 32:00 For me this is more hobby then passion. I work hospitals. I save lives. That is my passion. Im the medicine man. Also those werent trends those were honest attempts to be heard. Want to see white male privilage. You hate hearing this even though only in the last century has this actually gained any traction. And you call it a trend? A fad? ruclips.net/video/mw5VIEIvuMI/видео.htmlsi=8Xrdvlqp6yuomjyC Ill make a guess it was me mentioning white privilage that triggered those with an issue with somone saying white privilage. The mentioning shows it to the person that was triggered not for the one that was not. Reflect on that reaction. Notice that others use this against people too their ignorance of their own history and the parts they play in it. Take israel it is committing genocide while it demands everyone learn from the holocaust. Or people like Trump saying white men are the real victims here. Il stop here its a good time for those that made it this far to reflect. ruclips.net/video/tbX6aMfPtEw/видео.htmlsi=lgA8xU2YDCkhL_JN
All images formed are escape mechanisms. So if I am a person and Marcus is a person. I can learn from him but I can't ever be him. An archetype arises around many images. Stoicism. Buddhism. Science. All words. I am not a word and I follow no image. In America manifest destiny has its causes and its effects. ruclips.net/video/7uvmWG4U7QE/видео.htmlsi=Cy7xZ-0UryrXKIR4

Nature and life are designed. And evolution doesn't explain mind and consciousness. Science doesn't give us morals. So yeah Materilaism is the dumbest and most useless ideology.
And now the UK atheist vacuum has sucked up Islam. Well done Atheists Well done Dawkins
YESSS two of my favorites!!
I'd actually trust the shaman more then the local psychologist. Ever tried their drugs some will cause people to commit suicide. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9553847/
Every day, we need clarity for the mind, gratitude for the heart and peace for the being. Everyone, alive. Every day. Science, can only bust all its own theories which as it turns out, are always previously made up by itself. Science and religion are both playing the same game of make-believe with a mystery where one uses the word "fact" and one uses the word "faith" while being lost in the same maze.
Morality from science? 😂 There's no objective morality. Boy, that's really ignorance
What really reason can do? Being very limited and conditioned, subject to imperfect tools and lack of data. At the end, it has to place its bet on the unknown.
Scientists have faith in their craft. Faith in what they do. Faith means to trust. Science is a method, a powerful method, but it only goes so far. Simpletons like Dawkins imagine that science is everything, and that there is nothing else. He is plainly stupid.
I really enjoyed Ego Is The Enemy and The Obstacle Is The Way. Both pointed at a number of perceptions that I have experienced and quite often defined them very accurately.
It's all about the sacred and the profane. Some people cannot understand the sacred because of their rational mind, so they become atheists. You guys along with Dawkins need to understand the sacred, and the profane you chose. Profane leads to chaos, not because it has to but because most people can't grapple psychology so they really need the sacred. If you are intelligent you need to understand both sides and live on the middle.
I absolutely love that you had Scott on your podcast. I wish that it had happened months, possibly years ago. I do want comment real quick on the whole women and money thing. Not all women see money as receiving gifts. Some view men with money as a form of security. Speaking as someone who, besides her father, has never depended upon a man for money. I don’t doubt the results of studies done, just questioning the interpretation.
PS - really enjoying the NYNY 2025 Challenge!
hey there -- Scott and Ryan has spoken previously as well. From about 3-4 months ago which is how I discovered Galloway initially. Wanted to point that! maybe you'll like the convo

This was fascinating in light of our country’s oligarchy
5:56 It was not just privilage that was enjoyed. Us of color at the bottom also had to deal with ya badmouthing us at every turn. I remember first arriving I america in the early 90s and racism was rampant. We were treated like absolute shit and if I'm not mistaken the prison system population % wise is still predominantly people of color and those in boardrooms a high level jobs are still predominantly white. It's not the young folks fault at all. But let's face it it's been going on a long time and resentment has accumulated in colored spaces because of it. So while ya enjoyed privilege we enjoyed ridicule and harassment do try to look at both sides of the equation and not just pay lip service to the reality of inequality in America. Otherwise asking me to feel sympathy is a bit deluded. Now do I think things should change fuck yes. I feel for ya as much as I do for us but it ain't the same boat we in. And I won't pretend otherwise. I never liked how they treated my mother just cause she couldn't speak English. Also look at avg household income by color and tell me where is the equality. On that note the younger generation of white males is fed up with being told they have it so well. And yet they fail to see the full repercussions of what that actually means to have a system be built for you and against us. And Trump shows us the majority of whites feel that they actually deserve more and we deserve lless. As if that will fix anything. Don't forget when they talk about immigrants they don't mind immigrants that are European. So if they want to be seen they first have to see us and not just complain about how hard they privilage makes life for them. 9:38 right now too many old people in power manipulating the narrative. That causes resolution to be difficult. At first the young are open minded. As time passes they become more like their parents as they interact with the harsh reality of the world. 18:01 yeah this one hits hard especially when it comes to rags to riches stories that then begin to support the status quo. Used to be a time the governmwnt had to invest heavily into celebrities in order to get them to get the poor to believe that anyone can make it without ever pointing out that narrative relies on a 1 in a million chance. Not everyone can be mariah carey or floyd mayweather. But the image is usually enough to stifle dissent. Survivorship bias at its finest. They may get their billions but ya get ya millions meanwhile avg housewealth for the poor is 15k. 25:13 how much money a person needs changes often. If wages were tied to inflation this wouldnt be an issue. But lets face it wheres the profit in that for both middle class and the rich. And what's sad is ya the ones causing the inflation for the most part in a quest for profit. The hamsterwheel of the wealthy depends on the blood and sweat of the poor. Thr cost is not stress. It's your humanity. Lol want to see stoic. 42 y.o. no car. Why because of buses and pollution. Not a fan of using airplanes either. The only reason I would get a car is if I'm getting married. Then it's a necessity. Don't tell me ya made us suffer just so ya can act like saints? I can guarantee ya dont give us as much as ya take. Why the fuck does anyone need to make more then 200k a year? Heck I'd be happy with 70k. Tax me more if i make more then that. That's how I invest in society. Taxes. Lol how does one fight against such a greed filled narrative. Especially when 10millipn can be seen as stoic... reap what you sow. As for me ima remain working class and once I restart my RUclips no patreon. instead ima wait to see if it pans out and if it works i will use that for votes while i try to become a politician maybe enter congress. if not ill be in the hospital saving lives. the no patreon thing is not because i dislike money. its because i dont sell what i teach. its not transactional for me. its a duty. its a me thing. what can i live with. 52 m. Instead of a come uppance its a denial attributing value to that which is ultimately worthless. I would rather be poor and have meaninful deep connections then be rich and be heartless and cruel.

At the age of 15 I was in juvie. I took it as an opportunity to lelearn. I ended up there because I dropped out of highschool in order to spend time with those that drop out of school in order to make sure they didnt get killed in the streets joining gangs and shit. But it caused me to have to do some things I didn't want to do in order to minimize damage. The one that ended with me in jail involved a kid stealing tons of drugs from my friends. My friends would have beat him with a bat. So I asked them to let me deal with it and just roughed the guy up a bit. Luckily me and my brother found him first and he let me take the lead. Unfortunately he had earrings and that caused punctures on the side of his head. When he called the cops I was done for. But at 15 I wanted to find a better way to help. I began studying and created my own thing. By the time I was done I was 18. I called it the trick of the 2nd life. Horse stance meditation was its centerpiece since it still involved pain while meditating. I also blared the tv. 3 senses did I work on. Sight sound touch. Or images music and pain. Seeded meditation involves an object of focus i.e. stare at a dot on the wall and don't waver. Mine was seedless that means I'm not trying to focus on anything but open awareness and the other things are there like weights that I can lift to make my open awareness stronger. This is how the path unfolded for me. But I am an autodidactic and thus I have no lineage. I created my own style. ruclips.net/video/Vt68YJCe_YA/видео.htmlsi=jxeWsITCPgD6NHUl ruclips.net/video/wL4jkPNWNz4/видео.htmlsi=8vF5E6m-Ea4ZE7SI

As an atheist who has been sober for years, I'm glad you asked about the higher power subject. I attend 12-step meetings quit often and most people there are not religious. It's a rational thing to not do harm to ourselves. No god required for that, we are mammals that learn from trial and error. Great interview!!!
Yes. There are ancestral wisdom, defense mechanisms and survival instinct for a reason.
But when we have to charity most are reluctant, like the way we are quick to be pro choice when science has already made it known life begins at conception.
@koppite9600 I do charity, but I prefer emancipation. Tackling some social issues with structural flaws would be more sustainable.
@@koppite9600lol your chicken is alive. Tumors are alive. It's not about being alive it's about personhood. Alive and a life are not the same thing
Of course, there are no gods but there is an existential mystery to ponder. Ultimately, we are a facet of the unfolding universe.
Faith is the ability to let go of the need for answers. Letting go of the need to be oriented in space and time. Religion on the other hand is the result of organization where people try to form a consensus as to what it is that they believe in in order to make them feel as if they are a part of a community with shared common values. This leads many to use religions for their own ends from governments to scam artists. Those that believe are as capable of rational thought as those that don't. The influencing factors which skew the results are the governments and scam artists that use religion for their own gain. I.e. when Galileo a religious person proposed that the earth was not the center of the universe it upset many people and caused a backlash that was not rational but was steeped in a need to maintain the status quo. As time passes the organization gets better at stifling dissent and then it appears as if faith and reason are incompatible when the truth is they are quite compatible when allowed to freely be themselves and incompatible when someone tries to take control of what faith should and should not look like or what reason should and should not look like. Newton was religious are you saying you would have been more rational then him in his Era just because you were an atheist? Really that dumb huh? For the other religions learn about them first before talking about them. Otherwise you might be prone to using straw man's to appear the wiser. No understanding of cause and effect if one assumes that just because we live in the modern age everyone must adopt a modern view. To each their time and effort. As allowed by their environment. Mostly sounds like listening to those that dont have all the facts yet. I will leave 3 posts that should further educate on the matter at hand. Religions arise because someone or a group of people gather and make an attwmpt to solve issues they see around them. They use critical thinking skills to arrive at their methodlogies. Religions come afterwards and hijack or improve upon what was a medical treatment plan. ruclips.net/video/NIQsQwls-fo/видео.htmlsi=Bww5S3sAfEpZp8ua ruclips.net/video/zL-oEF2lQRI/видео.htmlsi=10RFlxfILYBHxTgX ruclips.net/video/bqA74RpHzzo/видео.htmlsi=3jz9K3OLz_eUOyIU Most of life is symbiotic. Out of the billions of bacteria only a few cause us harm. There are more beneficial organisms inside us then there are harmful ones in the world. 33 m in ill stop commenting at this point. Also look up game theory.
