@ thanks for the response. The world of days gone felt so vibrant and alive, with a lot of variety. Having travelled through Oregon, it made me feel like I was genuinely moving through Oregon. There were moments where my wife saw me playing the game and recognized locations like crater lake. I also thought it was super cool how the zombies behaved differently during the day and at night-it made the gameplay feel more dynamic. The gameplay itself was so engaging; every zombie encounter felt unique, and dealing with those massive hordes was genuinely nerve-wracking. Even though the main character, was kind of a blank slate, the relationships he had with others felt real and believable. Especially with his friend and wife. And the bike riding? That was awesome. And building up the bike felt similar to Mad Max. It added a lot to the experience and made getting around the world a lot of fun. The chase sequences were also thrilling. Overall, it was a really thrilling game that kept me hooked the whole way through.

@257manoj now you mention it, I see a lot of comparisons to Mad Max. Both also released at a time where their “style” of Open World game felt overdone, but years later, both just aged incredibly well. Saving your comment in my notes, all great points! 🙏🏻

I REALLY want to get into VR - sometime when the channel is profitable, I will probably dive in. What little I have seen of Hitman VR looks fantastic!

Yeah, of course Ubisoft went to one of the smallest RUclipsrs and handed him a sack of money. Watch my full review on the game, I definitely have issues with it. Did you try it after their latest update, with changes to balance, sneaking and gun handling?

Thank you! I5 13th generation and an RTX4070. Definitely NOT needed to run Mad Max, a 2000 series GPU should be more than adequate. I played it first time on a laptop with a GTX1060, zero issues

ACTUALLY - they updated the game and pretty much fixed every single issue I had at time of recording - this is also confirmed by Digital Foundry! I recommend the game. If you are still on the fence, wait for a sale or just play it through Ubisofts subscription service :)

Google Translate and auto dubbing can help with that I think

Its hard to answer that without further details tbh... What is the error? Did you have multiple install processes ongoing, or a Microsoft Security pop up?

Dont remember that detail? In the new ones, some of them will recognize you IN DISGUISE which is pretty cool

@@CliffhangerDK In Absolution, they start saying things like they remember your face from somewhere. To let off the suspicion, you have to either hide/take cover or activate your instinct for a short amount of time

@@CliffhangerDK Also whenever you activate your instinct 47 starts covering his face with the hat of the disguise he's wearing. Or if he's in his signature suit, he will start looking in an opposite direction to hide his face

No joke, that is GENUINELY impressive! Overall, I think IO Interactive are proud of their work - even if it was not good, they would fix it. One of the few developers that I SUPER trust

Walking in empty markets and spaces is a thing of the past! An empty metropol should not be a thing in a game in 2025 and forward!

Sorry, but no idea :( I assume you have not mixed mods, the mod was JUST installed now AND you have Shadow of Erdtree? Outside of a clean install from scratch, this is not an issue other players have mentioned here at least

I didn’t mind the characters at all, I just found them incredibly boring and shallow - not memorable at all. I just think that for what an open world game should be in 2022, the game failed on several levels. I think that on a STEEP discount with expectations in check, its a decent time waster

@CliffhangerDK I mean in terms of open world game standards in 2022 i can't really answer that as I don't play many other open world games besides the horizon zero dawn series and sometimes GTA, but fair enough. But in terms of it being a bad "saints row" game, it's just a little less wacky version of saints row 3. I don't get why people complain about the characters being "unrelatable" and shit like that, what was so relatable to the previous cast and most game characters? It's not a Great amazing game, but I'd give it a 6-7/10. Not even close to bad, especially for 7.99$. On sale RN

Dont agree with your pov on the characters (and thats fine) but I will 100% agree with you that the game is a strong 6/10! I think in todays age, it’s just popular to shit on everything because the more extreme your take is, the more views you will get. I don’t subscribe to that, I always try to be somewhat open minded and constructive in my critizism.. At the end of the day, someone spent years working on this thing, and that alone deserves some respect. Did you play the Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster? I was surprised with how good it looks!

You are probably getting the virus pop up - there should be a ”more info” or ”read more” option. You can tell it to ignore it, but its not very well explained

(I got my first pc a day ago so sorry if I don’t make sense)When I download it McAfee pops up and says there has been I virus when I click it is shows me details and the only action I can do with it is delete or restore which im not sure what those are implying

Ah yes, Mcafee. That is what experienced PC Gamers call ”bloatware” 😊 You should disable it. Personally I would remove it. But disable it tempoearily, then try again 👍🏻 Should be a manual on how to do that online somewhere (I am no Mcafee expert)

So… I worked in tech support - customer facing - in a VERY LARGE IT/PC company you know. And the coach we had there said that Microsofts own built in security is enough. So make sure that Windows Safety/Security (I forget the exact name) is activated, and you know - just don’t download dubious things or open weird mails, you will be fine :) Did you get the game to work? Ps: my response time will be longer, have some family stuff today

Exactly, its a decent “bro-game”. And that’s about it. There are a lot better games to be played though, so for me, “just fine” makes the game hard to recommend

actually, the full game can be played offline except from Freelancer. But you won't be able to level up offline which can be hugely restrictive. Hopefully IOI will do the right thing...

@CliffhangerDK exactly my point though. Tell me how to enjoy a game that's based around using new gadgets, entry points and costumes to improve your previous attempts if you can't actually unlock anything? Yes, you can "play" the game but it's like a demo version.

Never heard of this either tbh - looking at Reddit, it seems to run fine. Could your PS4 be overheating? Scratched cd? Corrupt game install?

@CliffhangerDK I cannot find anyone talking about the issues I am having on PS4. But I downloaded the game because WOA was on sale, I was excited, I played the entire game no problem. Now it crashes in the same exact spot on the loading screen for the maps that do crash. My PS4 does not feel like it is overheating when playing. Idk who/how to contact who I need to in order to figure out this problem. I desperately need the help.

@ so, I used to work in tech support. For a problem like this, I would do cross checks. Its a download - ok. Does it happen on other PS4’s - seems not. So the problem is with you (your setup or install). Does it happen if you uninstall and re-install? If you have a friend with a PS4, it would be interesting to log in there, and see if it also happens on another PS4.

If you play on PC You can use peacock mod. It's made for this exact reason and even brings extra content in game.
