I just recently finished Little Goody Two Shoes (Loved it!) and bought Pocket Mirror (Haven’t started it yet though), so I’m pretty excited for this too. I’m curious though if this also be a continuation of LGTS and PM.
Hello! It's interesting you started the series with LGTS, even though it is the prequel to Pocket Mirror. I'm curious whether you knew or not or did you just stumble across the game and played it before knowing PM? Anyway, I hope you'll like Pocket Mirror just as much, the overall aesthetic is a little bit different from LGTS although the artistic direction is pretty much the same. Having played both games numerous times, I'm also curious whether Hell Maiden will be a continuation to the previous games or not. I hope so. Not spoiling you, but when you finish the game, I would love to chat about it. I have a friend of mine who also played both games so we already talked about our interpretations and theories but I'd love to have other people's opinions too! @@unereveuse6264 Hi, a youtube channel I'm subscribed to did some streams of it, and not only was I immediately captivated by the gorgeous art design and the gothic folk horror vibes, I also just really enjoy retro RPG Maker games and am always on the lookout for new ones, so I bought it for myself. I learned about Pocket Mirror soon after that, though I knew very little about it (and still don't know much really), only that it was connected to LGTS in some way- though obviously having now finished the game and achieved a particular ending, I know what the connection is. I've only played about maybe ten minutes of Pocket Mirror so far (started it today), but I'm very excited to play more. And whatever Hell Maiden ends up being, whether it's another prequel or sequel to these games, or its own original story, I'll definitely be checking it out.

So excited for this game! I was also wondering if some lgts fans could help. I'm struggling with what I feel is a big plothole from the game. Spoilers for LGTS!! When did Holle make her wish?! She is always depicted in tapestries to have been a young women when she made a deal with Ozzy but in the opening she is already an old woman. Also if she and her lover had problems because she couldn't get pregnant I'm almost sure he would have not stuck with her till they got old. Maybe I missed something? Could someone help me? 😅 Maybe a writer from the team? Keep up the good work Astralshift❤ (I would love to learn more about Ozzy and the Golden Maidens but I'm also glad to see something new!)
Hi! Well, your observation is really interesting and worth the question. I didn't even think about it myself, even though I played the game several times before. Knowing that Elise is 18 turning almost 19 and that we don't have the exact age of Holle, I believe that we could interpret that she was indeed "young" but not so young at the same time ? And that she eventually got a lot older as Elise grew ? Which is bizarre is that her chara design depicts a really old woman. I don't know... I admit that it's quite questioning and feels like a plothole but maybe we are missing elements of the story? Did you get all the endings? I didn't so I'm surely missing information.

I don't own the game (it's on my Christmas list) but I watched other people play, read the wiki, posts etc. From what I gathered Holle died about 10 years before the beginning of the game makeing Elise 8-9 year old at the time. In all the playthroughs I've seen nobody says her age, just calls her Old Holle which I'd say would put her in her 50's at the very least. The fact that she is already an old lady in the opening scene made me think about this.

Finished PM and it's a good game with decent stiry! Tried LGTS but dropped it around the snake part. Dropped LGTS when the snake appeared, cause gameplay loop felt TOO repetitive and ruined the narrative for me. It's disappointing that I didn't enjoyed the story. Maybe I'm gonna finish it someday :( So, uh, waiting for your next game. I hope I like it
