Well they’ll be hunting what ever is placed there cus their souls are not in peace 🙏
So sad that they burnt this place down.. definitely a historic part of our cities history
I went there as a kid in the 80s and in the back of the house there was vending machines with beer inside..
I know where this was! This was right off of I 10, near where the RIM is. If you look for it today, it’s where the Marquis Trailhead is.
I remember it was in operation as a kid. There used to be a road weidner rd that was built over the quarry. It was great times Veiwing down on quarry when I was on school bus Looking out the window looking at all earth moving equipment running around. And there was a elevated railroad crossinv that every one like to duke the hazzard style jump over on the tracks. mid 90s that area became kid hang out spot for a short time. Until San Antonio took over the property. Since there a city yard close to there now where they park there garbage trucks and other city functions there. It bit more secure to ubex. Any kid in those times building was more intact And city just taking it sweet time slowly demoing it as tine goes on.
Came here last night hoping for something spooky to happen
I live there for 18 years before I went into the military. 2:34
Unsettling music alert
I used to go there as a kid to explore ... id wander across Amarillo Boulevard and just go wherever my bike would take me... always home before the streetlights came on at dark, though ... some 35 to 40 yrs ago.
Closed down cause no one wanted to invest in the work of fixing it back up after it was broken into and vandalized.sad thought cause I think like a year or two before it closed they had just remodeled the snack bar area and of course all that was vandalized along with the projector rooms.i hope who ever was behind all the vandalism is real proud of themselves just put break some stuff and put your name on a wall. pointless actions sad to it gone.. but glad we still have a reminder when in the area seeing the main screen still being used.
Does anybody have any more pictures of this place? It’s called Longhorn Cement Plant btw.
So is this the only video of it on RUclips??
What yr was it abandoned in, no graffiti unlike lone star and the Fredrick building. A lot better environment
It was abandoned in 1987
Please see my comments at Liberty Mills, the predecessor to Pro Plus.
Where is this located I'm in Amarillo an been wanted to get some paranormal video evidence
It is in between the bnsf rails north of SE 3rd near the scrap yards near ross osage
@@JornanWarden thanks
@@zergneptune4836 no problem be safe
Did you ever go? Cops supposedly patrol there so be careful. Also, there's rumors it's haunted. It creeps me out everytime I drive by there. It's cool but there's been at least 1 fatality, and dozens of horrible things connected to this place.
I remember reading the reports cause i always wanted to go there 😢
Ive lived in san marcos my whole life, thats 31 years now and was told it was a mental hospital that was abandoned, not going to lie im kinda disappointed. Buut still pissed some pieces of shit from another stated burned it down
It wasn't a nursing home, it was actually an orphanage and I'll forever regret not checking out this place before it got demolished, I'm grateful that I've been able to explore many other abandoned buildings around Texas and other states
where is this place at? specifically
My great grandmother was there 1990-1993 she died there before Xmas 1993
I remember going to the haunted house they did one year... it was awesome... sucks what happened to it
anybody else used to drive by this building and get creeped out when they were a kid?? 😂😂im 17 now
I was js there yesterday lol
Been there 2007. We explored the basement, cylinder room and roof. Good times bavk then, when it was a bit more spooky. Just three of us and a flip phone for light.
I remember going there with my kids and nephews . Those were the good times.
I remember that place.
Where is this? Still standng?
Long gone. Turned into luxury apartments on Alamo street.
This definitely gave an eerie vibe. Glad you caught it before it was torn down and redeveloped by SAISD.
whats the location pops, i wanna start exploring this shit
My friends daughter died there. So sad.
Could you give me some info on this area?
How much is it for sale now
Don't know. Haven't been there in years.
I love this place, I went exploring here on Halloween and the place is MASSIVE
I live in San Antonio so I would be close may be 🤔🤨
Seriously where is this at ?
This place was right off of I 10, right next to where the RIM is. But it’s long gone now.
you can tell someone been mowing the property its all been mowed down , just the land outside the property has not been mowed , never enter property that been mowed ,
How are ya, viclis11. it is beautifully alluring video. thanks. :)
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
i did music video here about a couple weeks ago this place is haunted , also was very creepy
hey is it still there? I'm looking to do the same!
This place has been here forever
i lived there around 1993. our class rebuilt entire 2nd floor, and many of us moved in. had some fun times there.
Beta Delta pledge class ruled!
where is it?
FM 70 off of CR163A
@@viclis11you are such a liar
Why did the speedway shut down?
Money ran out. Not enough people attended the races.
@@viclis11 okay. Thanks.
What is the location
3641 S Santa Clara Rd, Marion, TX 78124. Just on the outskirts of San Antonio.
Where is this location?????
I was security here when it first shut down. We used the original security clocks. There are keys hanging through out the property where you stick it in and turn it, it then punches a stamp on a round paper with the times on it. We had to do it every hour. When we were hired, almost everything was still present. Computers still on, coffee still in cups on the desk, still fabric in the old machines. It was like they just clocked out and left. One of the coolest and weirdest jobs I've ever had. I know that place inside and out!
Do you want to come explore with us? We could use someone who knows the place
👌😃👍
Wouldn't it be cool if a few fellas who used to go there put up the money to buy some bulbs to put into the existing fixtures. Turn them on at dusk, and let a few deceased ex-drivers spirts' make like it was race nite all over again. Just a thought.
What is the back story? Is it proclaimed as haunted
Looks like one house, over & over.
Fear the Walking Dead
For anyone wondering this place is still standing I have been several times and have made to the roof. The best way in is to cross the bridge and enter in a hole in the fence. Then go around the building until you find one of the several open doors
This building is hotel Emma now.
