Hey everybody! I'm Daniel, and I really like covers of video games! Some years back I thought, "Why can't I just listen to all the covers I want without ad interruption, or having to search for them individually?" So here I am, collecting arranged songs for video game soundtracks. That's what ASC stands for: Arranged Soundtrack Collection!

For those who remember, QWOP's song (which is really a 2-second loop) sounds suspiciously similar to the beginning of Vangelis's "Chariots of Fire". I find it hysterical that this video became the first ASC in which I use actual film music as a cover!

On this day in 2016, I released the ASC on Chrono Trigger, the game where you use time travel to save the world. Now on its sixth year anniversary I release an ASC on Chronos, a game where you're trapped in a time loop, forced to fight the same war over and over as punishment for unleashing a spiteful god of time. @@nonsensicalrants1703Right, so the videos I make are collections of arranged and remixed versions of songs from the game's soundtrack. I search RUclips and SoundCloud for people's covers and I compile them into a single-video edit where the songs are synchronized to the gameplay as best as possible. You can see who did what cover in the credits 1:57:56 and follow their channel through the links in the video description. This is why I call them ASC's (Arranged Soundtrack Collection)!

thank you for your work and passion you put into this. I remember being 10 years old playing this game with my dad. He passed away from cancer just before I graduated high school. 30 years have passed and it seems so far away, but listening to this, it doesn’t feel that distant anymore. The sync up of animation after collecting all 3 pendants was soooo satisfying.

Undersea palace arrangement v disappointing. My fave snes music of all time and I have to skip it here. Erases the original percussion 1-2 hit that is so integral to the song. I'm expecting a BOOM-BANG and its barely a whisper. I go from super-hype to meh every time. Every single other arrangement is fire. I still listen to this all the time.

This game really used to piss me off when I was a kid. I played it to death and it is truly a masterpiece. If you were a kid to play and experience this. Good for you. Gems like this are hard to find if at all even possible.
For some reason, the game always seemed extremely hard until I got the hammer. After getting the hammer, I felt like the world just became more manageable. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this ASC so much! Enjoy the other ASC'S from the channel! 🎮🎧

Sometimes it's very hard for non-fans to realize how epic and dark and emotional the 90s Zelda games were because of the limited art and audio quality. 16 music can be hard for others to appreciate, and orchestral music just feels out of place in a pixelized game. This is a perfect balance.
