Finally someone goes to painstaking efforts to show you how to do this job that should not be done. Good luck. Upper ball joint replacement in ford ranger. No A arm replacement. Also for the record this only works with aftermarket uppers as they dont make replacements for the stock A arm.

I did a coolant flush and it was runing, turned it off went in for a drink came out tried to turn it back on and it just did a clicking sound
Sounds like a QC issue to me. Drive your exhaust right to their HQ.

The engine is mounted off to the passenger side, I think because like you said, to be in line with the axle pinion.

Nothing not normal about this job…. A socket should be common knowledge pressing joints and bushings lol. Doesn’t the press clear the fender if you let the control arm drop all the way down? Ball joint stud sticks out the open end of the press the screw end pushes on the cup as the open end pushes the joint up and out?
Yes the merku come with the T9 Anthony is correct Mustangs and Thunderbirds came with t5s SVO Mustangs came with the world class T5
Never heard of the t9. Tag shows t5 so maybe it was from another car. Splines still lined up though so thats good.

This is the best ball joint swapping I've ever seen.
I am sure you will address this however, my concern is that the intake horn does not have enough hood clearance. Not only will the silicone hose add around 3/16", and a T clamp on top of that, you also have to account that engine torque will most likely rotate your engine probably 1-2" up on the drivers side causing hood contact or vibration transfer etc. Good luck.
Yeah thanks for the tip! Had a couple inches of plates underneath to account for any extra space I should need. Hopefully its enough!

Been watching your series here, awesome detail, I'll be doing a T5 and 2.3l Turbo Lima swap from a Turbo T-Bird Coupe (have 3 motors coming my pops collected from drivers) for his old 1974 Ford Pinto SCCA Racecar, hoping to go from an old ITB car to ITE and maybe run an enduro or two.
That's awesome man. I have more to come. Hopefully there will be a bunch of us doing these up in the end.
That's always the hope, yeah I've been looking into it a good while what with the 2 T-bird motors and the 85 SVO setup, gotten pretty in-tune with the programming and my eventual ECM swap (had experience with twEECer in the past with 5.0L and 4.9L Truck swaps using EEC-IV) so I'm hoping to pretty well be able to tune some blank slate ECUs and make a standalone for the car that will fit my needs fairly well, just haven't been into the physical aspect of it just yet, won't have the car at the new house till October. I do know my Uncle Mike Streets (may/may not know him as the only Boss Pinto still known to be around) had some dabbling with T5 swaps, I don't know if he had ever done the Turbo swap, still need to see if I can pick his brain while at it.
synthetic oil eliminated the coking condition inside the turbo, which starved the turbo bearings. Also, They water cooled the turbo-bearing housings in later years. those stalk T3 60 series max out at 260hp with a front-mount intercooler.
Try running the carb dry before disassembly.

Similar issue here too, it will turn on sometimes but other times no noise or anything from the switch

a pin gauge set is your friend with a carb that has that much adjust-ability. Those carbs are for circle track and drag race applications. Using one on the street is a major pita. I wish you luck in your endeavor. Also keeping detailed notes will also help when tuning that carb.

Yeah I am putting a 347 in my pinto and I had to Jack up the car so that the hoist would slide under the control arms
Hey bud I have a similar problem. I’ve changed the battery, rectifier, and the solenoid all I’m getting is a clicking sound from the relay when I go to start it. Am I supposed to be getting 12 volts from both sides of the relay?
Try using cable that run from the rectifier that connect on the startex box on the right side and touch the positive terminal... it work but u have to have sufficient battery volts.... normaly use that procedure actually i saw the mechanic do it and it work...was using that method although its scrappy but my power button wouldnt start the bike...still hoping to get a start tonight currenly charging the battery jumper kit

Hey man same bike same problem lmao but like the bottom comment all lights come on and when I hit the start button the relay buzzes until the battery dies then it charges and does same thing I can start it with a battery pack but after taking it off it idles for a minute or two then dies again
Sounds like it's probably a battery issue in that case. You should be able to take it out and get it tested on a testing machine at your local parts store.

Nice video man. Having this issue and I know for a fact I have bettary issues however when I bump with my truck (turned off of course) it starts and stays on but when I use a jump box or the battery alone it wont idle. My point is these batteries are trash once they reach rock bottom, you cannot bring them back because the bikes charging system is not that powerful and the bike draws more than it returns. Loved it when my dude said fuck it and went to fry some chicken! 😂😂😂
