I have had 2 sonnen evo's installed in my shed /workshop , the ambient temperature inside the shed gets quite warm on a hot day ,the batteries don't really like the heat and the cooling fans are activated at 30 degrees ,the fans create an abnormally loud sound which in my shed drowns out the radio i'm listening to,and they will run constantly from about 11.00 to well into the evening , on a recent hot day of 40 degrees the cooling fans were running till past midnight with the shed doors open trying to catch a breeze, not good for security, anyhow i plan to install a whirlybird on the shed roof above the batteries to try and lower the temperature inside.

Ok a conundrum for you then :) I have a 2 story house with spacious under roof space. To my garage it however is 30 meters of wire. Where to put the inverter? Under the roof, where will be 30C over summer. Or garage and drag the HV DC strings 30 meters?

I’ve never found an A Frame ladder that was stable and felt safe when folded straight; just the inherit design of an A Frame being thinner and less rigid at the top makes them much less safe when that thin portion suddenly becomes the middle of the ladder. I find the telescoping ladders are quite decent when used as an A Frame and not folded out straight, but I’ve never tried one larger then 3 meters in A Frame mode. I use them as portable ladders to help set up and tear down camp, keeping it in a zip close bag when not in use and cleaning it well before putting away to avoid issues with the slide mechanism getting jammed from debris. For home use, I have a much sturdier thick aluminum ladder, but it takes up a lot more space and is significantly heavier, thus not being convenient to take to camp.

FYI, nobody outside of stocks and banks use “per annum” (at least in the USA) and it can be confusing for those outside the financial sector; I (humbly) suggest using “per year” on your channel if you want all audiences to understand your intent. I think he is referring to Si/C batteries and comparing them to Li-ion batteries. Si/C batteries are now being used in phones and electric vehicles and they more resistant to damage than Li-ion because Silicon is harder than Lithium and it doesn't react with water.

Wut? Lol i used install these by myself as a 5 foot 7, 25 year old male whose not that big or muscular 😂 what are you talking about 3 people? I used to be able to throw these batteries or a inverter for solar systems the same size shape and weight roughly and throw them onto the wall, hold them there againt it with ny shoulder and one arm then with the other arm reach around grab my drill and screw in the top two corners into the wall or bracket all in one motion by myself, ide never seen it take more than 2 people at the absolutel most one to hold one to screw it in or align it but if your worth your weight you should be able to raw dog it alone man. In fact when they were doimg it by hand they went faster alot faster than when using some type of machinery to lift and center it probably because by hand its physically taxing which mkes the installer learn how to do things as quickly and efficiently as possible and theyre not being held back by all the time it takes to get a lift, drive it over, center it pick up the device ect ect ect when they just lug it up, slap it on the wall zap fhe impact on some nuts to lock it in then get on with other things. This thing costs companies.more than it saves both in the initial cost of the machine itself and also in lost hours because its causing installations to take longer to do.
