Thanks for sharing your posivity😊 Hope everyone is feeling better today 😊
I am amazed at your sourcing ability!
@@Darrellegoldie thanks! The more I’m in this business the more I see opportunity to turn trash into treasure everywhere. Buying is relatively easy, selling is hard!

@@DanielHayes-po6dc Let’s go!
@@ProfitFirstReseller what’s your thought on Technsports channel ?
Does anyone know how to find their store on eBay, what is it called?
Loving your videos man. Thanks for sharing and positive vibes!

FB is a brain drain. I try to only use it for Marketplace, but I do get sucked into the drama from time to time. 🥺 I'm looking forward to having my Ebay store store grow!!!
@@mechellerene yes there was a time I experimented selling on Facebook marketplace, but I hated that I was constantly getting distracted by other things on Facebook trying to steal my attention! Almost like Facebook is doing it on purpose lol…
I play wii sports resort regularly it’s just a good time.
@@planet9964 so fun :)
I think its also because some hospitals and other care centers use it as a way to keep people active indoors. Since it was the first, kid friendly, and cheapest compared to other big names, a lot of centers kept the Wii as THE console they use. If a disc snaps from a patient/nurse mishandling it, the hospital needs to get a fresh copy.
@@CalvinizedSteel wow that’s so cool!
I hired a VA from Morocco for $6/hr. They take my uploaded photos and turn them into listings. Approximately 30 hours/week. Saves me at least 3 hours a day.
@@Sam.Sung_ I’m so curious about your process and how it works for you! My listing process on my phone takes less than a minute including taking photos when I sell similar off one of my recent items. Between sending a VA the listings to finish, and then proofreading the listings after, I guess I see that probably taking at least a minute too.
Do you have an affiliate link for the bags you use? I'm starting to SKU and bag all of my inventory.
@@drdunngg yes in the description I have the 3 sizes of high quality poly bags that I use to ship the majority of my items. Thank you!

Passive income as you’re actively working makes a lot of sense. Cool tats.
@@aocbound it’s not really clear in this short, but I’m taking all my eBay profits and putting them into index funds and high yield savings accounts. That’s the ‘passive’ part.
This is the very reason for me selling on eBay. I use profits to mostly fund my growth assets like stock portfolio.
@ this is the way!
im fixing my ebay store as we speak because my other business had been taking all my time. im listing everyday and my sales are doing well. not great but still grateful.
@@KINGRAMZY602 gratitude is powerful. Keep feeding your store with quality items and it will feed you in return.
If you're looking at employee pay as something that "comes out" of business profits you're looking at business wrong. It doesn't come out of there any more than maintaining any other part of your business does. They just happen to be the most expensive part, because they're the most valuable part.
@@Kibaoftheleaves IMO productive employees are the result of an excellent boss/leader. Not only does it take lots of money, I think it also takes more time and effort than people think to successfully manage employees to be profitable.
That’s if you hire a full-time employee, right? You can also do contract or part-time work as well if you don’t need them for eight hours a day? All this just to say that outside help doesn’t always cost you 30k
@@katelynholmes9504 totally I was thinking about full time employees
How do you fix red dot power supply return xbox 360
That’s a more complicated repair that I don’t think would be as profitable for my time. I just sell the red-ring consoles as broken for parts on eBay and let someone else try to repair them!

When you started ST dad what would you have done different to explode your Bussiness ?
@@DanielHayes-po6dc I would have done eBay promoted listings from the start to get the ball rolling even faster. But besides that I think my fundamentals were pretty good: buy smart, list everything you buy (no death piles), ship fast.
Just started Ebay I heard you say you have 3 kids in home school., I also have 3 kids in home school. Just hit 100 listings today I did this in my first month. Is a 1000. I hear you say 30 listing per day is the secret sauce. Just want to figure out how to source items faster. Me and my wife love the joy we get of watching your videos. Seem genuine.

Just starting eBay/ resale journey I enjoy it. Thanks for the reply back.
@ wow your self-reflection is admirable and so is your desire to be there for your kids!! For now I’m going to be putting all of my content on RUclips but I truly appreciate the vote of confidence about Patreon! Maybe one day!
first vid of yours I've come across and really enjoyed it, subscribed. Enjoy the positive attitude and points made. Great listening while I list some remote controls. I need to fix up some 360s, have 6-7 broken ones been stacking my consoles to repair deathpile, finally cleared some others up after repairing recently. You've got a lot! I'm a part time seller restarted in summer 2024 (did clothes ebay 2010-12, then random items 2016 or so). More serious this time around, would say I'm an everything seller but do focus bit on gaming, competitive niche but sells so well and I am passionate about it. I did too much buying early on and not enough listing, finally got more disciplined around Nov-Dec and been slogging through listing up the death pile w/out sourcing. Feels good, realize my weakness here to chase deals vs actually selling and good to learn to be more discipled. Don't plan to buy another thing until I get ever item listed. My daily reward is gaming at night, try to have a real productive listing session in the evening after work and then feel good about gaming, usually pack up orders after that and before bed, if I get some overnight it is a lot easier to add a few in the morning before work vs doing them all then. I do really good about tracking everything, little disheartening on my bad buys but good learning lessons, good to see the real winners that actual margins after everything to keep it realistic. I really am enjoying reselling and hope to continually get better, don't see myself ever going full time but commend sellers like you who do.
It’s actually because they never sold it by itself it only came with the console. So the number of copies is quite limited
@@dewfan4 interesting! Your comment made me curious enough to check Wikipedia and it says that Wii sports is the top selling Wii game, with double the sales numbers of the #2 game
Considering that the game had often come with the Wii ever since its original launch, I'm not surprised that it had high enough numbers to eclipse the #2 game on the hardware.
wow, what a coincidence you just talked about promoted listings like 3 days ago. Just Curious I wonder if My video on eBay listings that you just commented on this morning perhaps changed your perception on how listings work.
I love all your content bro thanks for commenting! I think we agree on many things. I’ve been doing promoted listings for over 2 years on 100% of my items.
Packing ??????? of profits today……

@ 55min. You can save so much more money in shipping cost if you disassemble the guitar. The neck of the guitar comes off easily. In the back of the guitar (near the start of the neck), there's a place where you either use a coin, or turn the switch to unlock position to easily slide the neck out. Maybe some models need a screwdriver but for most that I saw, you can take it off using the items around your house or no tools are needed in some cases. The assembly is easy as well where it usually snaps in in the models I've seen, so no complaints on the customer side when they receive it disassembled.
@@AN-xd1bu thank you! Yes a bunch of these guitars disassemble into two pieces, but I haven’t found an easy way to disassemble these particular fender Stratocaster controllers in the video.
Hi there, I saw that you ship a lot of your small electronics in poly bags. Have you ever had issues with the customers? Just asking because I think I literally do and spend too much time and money on packing and shipping supplies. Can you please do a video on shipping? If you have time? Thank you for your contents.
That’s a great idea! I’ve had very few issues with poly bags. A few sheets of bubble wrap and a poly bag is sufficient for most electronics under a pound IMO. Once they start getting heavier I find a box to provide more fall protection.
@ thank you for the reply. You surely make it look really easy. Hope to be at your level someday. I am also in the technsports group by the way. I had seen your package pickup posts and I saw it in one of your videos and figured out it was you. That’s awesome. Have a great night man and I really do enjoy your videos.

@@mrxquisite yes 100%! Even for me there are a very small number of items I’ll sell on other platforms but still over 99% just ends up being eBay.
Good content. Sold an extra $200 out of the trash today. I was cross listing to Poshmark and paying $25/month for PosherVA. After a while getting the results you're talking about, and getting a couple of items out of stock for eBay and getting penalized, I decided to learn from others who were successful, like Technsports, and only focus on eBay. My stress level is down, my number of listings is up, zero defects.
One of those problems we solve with three eBay stores because when you have a return or something goes bad it definitely affects your sells on one store, they turn your store off or at least hide a lot of listings
@@greendoorinvestments I’ve never had that experience. I get a couple of dozen returns every month. No noticeable dip in sales.
@ProfitFirstReseller you are the exception not the rule, jRide says the same thing, but the rest of us out here if you read comments on other channels have completely different experiences... some of that has to do with the category you sell in, like eBay accepts a certain percentage of returns for clothing electronics that kind of thing but if you sell in certain categories you get returns or defects it will affect your sales most people with large stores can see that
@@greendoorinvestments interesting!
@@greendoorinvestments Like everything to do with "the algorithm" talked on RUclips or the forums it is just people thinking coincidences are facts. i assume by "large stores" saying these things you mean Boring and his followers? It is all nonsense like everything he says. Unless of course you go below the high threshold compared to peers on returns. Which means you are a garbage seller in most cases.
90% of ebay is crosslistings from AZ. So, your theory is BS.
@@warroad interesting idea! Where did you read that 90% of eBay is stuff from Amazon?
I'm 100% certain that you have 0 idea of what you're talking about. This guy is being more than generous. To say 90% of eBay is cross-listed from Amazon is foolish at best. But I gotta say, to go onto a man's YT video, spout nonsense and then insult him in the same breath, all while being completely wrong.... That takes... Something.
