American Reacts to Australia Explained!
Australia was settled by the English because America was at war with the UK. They needed another place to send convicts.
In a way, yes they are becoming separate to house cats. I use to work with a rescue who would trap and neuter feral cats to maintain population levels. They would also rehome the tame ones and the kittens. I adopted several ferals during that time from Sydney streets. At the time they were all little and shy as the way to survive. But over the next decade the ferals have become just... different to a house cat. Several rescues started seeing the same thing. Bigger, faster, leaner, smarter, and way more capable. They act differently as well. One theory is un-neutered bengals had gotten into the standard street population once they became a more commonly owned pet, and have introduced that wild cat gene into a "wild" type population. When I moved rural I saw the same changes slowly happening in the ferals the community were trapping (the community later switched to encouraging natural predators back like iguanas and dingoes after seeing my success on my property). I adopted one of these "bengal" mix ferals and she grew huge. Stronger than even a pitbul dog which she caused serious injury to when he tried to attack another cat. She was 8kg of pure muscle and even playing caused her to bite to the bone in my hand. She was also short lived and had many emotional problems. She had a heart of gold and understood the environment, animals, and birds like no house cat ever could. My newest cat is half feral and is huge. His father is the "local" feral and is medium dog size. No exaggeration. Again he is so different to a standard cat and even a feral cat. He is the same as the feral "bengal" cat I previously had, in behavior. He is much more lean and long as he came from the bush with less food and more hunting, and she can from a rural area with more food but more need to protect herself. The remote rural bush cats have already become large cats due to the environment and types of prey they need to eat (often foxes). As the decades go by and the bengal genes get into that population (if it isn't already), we will be seeing some massive, capable predators that will probably replace the dingo as the main predator due to humans wiping them out and them being mixed with domestic dogs.
Iguanas?.?. You mean goanas??
Mate this video is old. The actual minimum pay is around 24 dollars an hr now which is around 16 dollars US On that we get superantion paid by employer. Majority medical treatment is free through Medicare. We get 4 weeks paid per year holiday pay and abundance of public holidays off paid.. In short yes we have high expenses, but our income is tje best in the world
Tax is in the price nothing extra to pay..no tips.only if you choose to. So maybe everything does workout cheaper..
You can ride between the cars on the lines so up the middle between two slow moving or stopped cars
7:59 looks like wallaby, maybe.
2:16 you realise it wasn’t an actual war. Just an attempt to cull the numbers.
Filtering for motor bikes simply means that while traffic is very slow or stopped, say for a red light at an intersection motorbikes are allowed to move between the stopped cars to the front! This helps to prevent motor bikes from being rear ended as they are between the lined up cars and can obviously take off faster when the lights go green.
The Australian feral cats are actually smaller on average than a house cat, drunk idiots just love to talk about how huge they are
Deep down. Aussies down f🇦🇺🇦🇺k around !
Chicken salt in Aus is similar to the ramin packs but salt form
In 74 years I've maybe seen maybe 3 snakes in the wild & theyshied away from me & while I've seen a heap of spiders none of them have chased me down with murderous intent, plovers are the craziest things I see on a regular basis but they just dive bomb you but don't usually make contact.
Drive only 20 minutes through corn fields. Try 5 hours with nothing but trees, other vegitation & farm land or worse.
Lane splitting is a bike the rides on the white line between cars (not in his own lane) but between 2 lanes. Yes, we get Chevrolet's here. Camaro's stingrays, chevy C20s, ford mustangs, Lamborghini's, Bugatti's etc. We're not primitive, it's just that some of us like our cars better. She mustn't get out much. We use to export our holdens to America in the late 90's and early 2000s as a Chevrolet impala, and the Pontiac GTOs is ours too, Chevrolet SS, i think buik even used them so. We also got your chevy volt made in detroit here as the holden volt and many many more. so she mustn't pay much attention to cars.
I
Nah, just depends on where you swim and walk. It's the PUB CRAWLERS you gotta watch out for.
Hey dude he is talking about Straya
no they don,t have the power to over trow the government
Perth and Adelaide are the best MC cities, very long dry summers.
Your a cute chick nice TATAs
Roundabouts. These are great in helping the traffic flow up to a point. Where they fail is in high traffic flows where the majority of traffic is turning 270 degrees. In that situation the constant flow of traffic blocks all others getting onto the roundabout. Those other cars would cause the "constant flow" to break up & pulse. That situation can be fixed by putting lights on just that part of the road where all the cars come from, prior to them hitting the roundabout. While what I describe is pretty rare, when it happens it sucks. The worst example of this is in Bella Vista, in Sydney, just near Woolies Head Office.
In Australia we have what is called the minimum wage it is rate per hour you must pay your employees per hour at the moment it is $24 AUD per hour probably about $17 USD per hour if you break this law and are caught out well say goodbye to your business
Hey Chaz, your last name might be your nickname also … like my maiden name was Swaffield but I was always ‘hey Swaffy’ now it’s Waterson and I get ‘Wart’
We do not tip in Australia unless you get exceptional service or the waitress has cute smile and ass
Filtering: In a multi-lane road where the cars are stopped or close to it. Say at a red light. The bike rider can ride up between the cars ( on top of the dotted line), to get to the front. Then when the lights change, the bike has much more acceleration so usually they speed off & are not in your way. This does not mean the bike rider zigzags in between cars when everyone is travelling at speed. Some riders do. But it is a good way to get yourself killed. If the driver can't see you, they tend to change lanes quickly, cutting you off, or just knocking into you.
Ok Australia post if you are expecting a package it is tracked Australia Post gives you options 1 if you cannot sign for a package 2 is there somewhere safe where they leave it 3 if you are not home they will send a SMS to your phone and tell you where you can pick up your package AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LINE UP IN A QUEUE A MILE LONG
In Australia we have roundabouts but in the major cities in busy times such as 9am or 5pm they become stop and go traffic lights but through the day not in peak hours they are just normal round abouts
In Australia if you let someone in on the road the common this is to give them a wave saying thanks mate if you don't wave thanks you are an arsehole
Vegemite is really an acquired taste I grew up with it🇦🇺
I used to get swooped by a magpie everyday going to school .🇦🇺
You wouldn't be religious, would you?
Do you know how old Australia is? Do you know how long our native species have been here?
We did that, not the cats.
No domestic cat would tackle cockatoo
B.S ive seen it happen
Mate, look up Simpson desert cat. These things have been recorded at 1.2metres from nose to tail, that's about 4 feet. They're big enough to drag down small Kangaroos and sheep, and they're evil bastards. They'll raid your camp site at night even with a fire going. Wild Dingoes stay away from camps with a fire going.
Cats are survivors. Apparently the Sabre Tooth Tiger has gone extinct.... twice. The DNA is still there and it can come back.
The total recorded deaths from sharks, crocodiles, snakes, spiders, jellyfish and dingoes in the last 200 years is equal to about one month of road toll.
To be honest, im not surprised QLD is weird compared to the rest of Australia. It's totally full of weirdo's. QLD is like California. Anyone who has been to Cali or lives in Cali will know what i mean. Thongs are thongs if your a straight male, only females wear thongs as underwear and gay men. 😂 And we don't say i bought a thong, it's a pair of thongs, if anyone says tehey bought a thong you get laughed at. Well here in the country you do. City folk are a bit different. We're bought up as men in the country, not so much in the city. 😂
No, it is not illegal to drive barefoot. Lol I can see where she gets the idea that cars have right of way over people. If your Jaywalking you will get hit if your not looking. If your at a roundabout, cars have right of way. If your at a crosswalk with no lights pedestrian's have right of way but don't walk thinking people will stop.😂 And if there are lights than it's standard to push the button and wait for the green walk-man. Roundabouts are giveway to the right, thats it. Stop signs you need to stop for 1 second. Dead stop. Red lights are stop, you can't turn left or right on red like you can in America. Packages are only not left at your door if it states signature required on delivery, Tipping... our bosses aren't A-Holes so our waitresses get paid more than a minimum wage, our minimum wage is a lot more and sometimes 8 times what America gets. So tips aren't necessary, but sometimes we will tip if the service is really good, but 100% not required. It is absolutely not our job to pay your wage, i didn't hire you, your boss did. It is absolutely disgusting that your bosses hire you but don't pay you a wage. And to be totally honest i really don't know how it's even legal.
I have a dark chocolate brown wild cat here i got when he was just 6 weeks old. I found him out in the desert. I also have his sister. Ive owned cats all my life and im now 53, i was given my first cat at 13. My boy is huge, absolutely massive compared to any cat i have ever owned. His sister is large too, but not as big as him, but as large as any male I've ever owned. Some would call him black, but in Certain light you can see he is brown with tabby stripes. So yes im sure cats are getting bigger out in the wild More so Than in a domestic environment. My boy is almost double the size of most male cats.
I have hiked for years in the mountains, it's full of browns. See them but they won't chase you. Highly unlikely you will be bitten by them, just take care when walking
Kangaroos aren't boxing here. They are free.
We do have Chevy's there just not as common like Holdens
Filtering means riding your bike on the white line if the bike fits in-between the two lanes. Allowed at stop signs and red lights. Zig zagging is more like overtaking if you were in a car.
They used to be registration tickets. The different colours represent the years. Your supposed to take the old sticker off before you put the new one. The dude that owned that car was lazy. Btw, we haven't used those stickers here for close to 10 years I believe.
Holden is general motors. So the Australian equivalent of Chevrolet.
Biggest problem with a digital licence is that if Ur phone dies u cant show ur licence if u get pulled over
Yes they have Chevy's here certainly seen a number of them here in Qld I presume there are plenty more in the other states.😊😅😂
the second bird was a plover ( pluh- ver) both male and females swoop people and they have small barbs under their wings.
there are still jellyfish near Sydney and Newcastle. they're all over some beach's when tides change.
