I walked down the aisle to it with my Dad in 1975. I found it on Switched on Bach by Wendy Carlos. I fell in love with Bach.

Couldn’t find a spot without a violin😂

Knowing that something this beautiful was composed by a member of the human race gives me great comfort and joy.

You suppose many of the kids here know that there is a lyrical version of this? It was in 4-4 time, but still the same essential piece. The Toys and The Supremes both recorded it in the 1960's as "A Lover's Concerto.". Us oldsters remember it-- "How gentle is the rain that falls softy on the meadow", and so on. The Supremes version was the best of the two.

I"m just curious what the actual head count there was. Hundreds!

Keep in mind like b flat major the key of g minor has 2 flats but start on different note. The b flat scale of corse starts on a concert b flat while the g minor starts on a concert g and plays the notes in the b flat scale and ends on a concert g. Also b flat major sounds happier than g major thats the difference between them

Melancholy yet elegant, Minuet in G minor caused chills to permeate throughout my body.... Truly astonishing. Praise God for the gift of hearing.

Please, please, please, both minuets was composed by Christian Petzold!!!, nooo Bach, it appears in Anna Magdalena's book but that work and others works on that book has been writed for diferents composers, no all ot them from Bach.
