i keep them for crab bait they work very well right up there with reef fish frames and chooks. put it in a plastic bag and freeze the whole thing and cut it in to 4 baits when frozen with a wood panel saw, no smell or mess.

Mate great catches but everyone knows no fingers in the gills if you throw them back. The gill fibers are as delicate as moth wings. Even the smallest bit of pressure is like someone throwing a lit durry directly into your lungs!
