Currently just straight piped from the cat. And factory manifolds and cat. Was running a 2.5” custom single exit no resonators out to a vibrant street power muffler. That’s the best sound I had to me personally.

It’s honestly not too bad the s197 has decent space and room to get around and get the transmission out.

I like it a lot. A lot better shift quality mainly and yes 4th is 1 to 1 and 5th and 6th are overdrives. Get slightly better mpg’s. And with the gears I got it’s alittle slower to 60 I feel but top end on like a 60 roll is much faster. Probably lost alittle on the 0-60 but picked up a ton on the 60-130

Haha if you check out some older videos I built a 94 accord and it was like that. Sanded and painted and it came out decent but it was still slightly better than the faded oe green.

@@252squad5 yes I love my accord it get finicky. It’s almost restored to a brand new oem. Minus the paint and the rims. Also it’s slammed on stock rims with a stable bar in the front struts. Rebuilt engine at 189k, new fuel pump, distributor assembly, and a lot of nick knacks that got replaced. Runs strong I got a clunk noise in the front end and my exhaust manifold needs to be replaced. Other than that it’s just as good as it was when it got rolled out of the factory. Thanks bud I will check out that video.

I think it should be a cg2 but the easiest way to know is look at the vin. It should have in it chassis code which is cg then the number directly behind is the number so it would say cg2 or cg6

The only thing I can think of is if you wired differently. I know the kit states to wire to a good solo power that is ignition switch on based. If you wired directly to a power on at all times it could be causing the draw

I ended up getting the transmission and all the swap components from modify my stang. Best deal I could find . And I’m running the 2.97 first gear ratio with my rear gear being 3.31’s it’s got long gears but with boost it should be good

@@252squad5 Ah alright, 3.31's seem real damn tall for even the 2.97 first;. a 4.10 would be roughly equivalent to 3.31 in an mt82. How does the trans feel? I'm looking to do a swap before the end of this year with the 2.66 first and 0.5 sixth gearset, pairing with 4.56 to perfectly reflect an mt82 w/ 3.55/3.73's

Yea 3.31’s and the 2.97 end up being really long gears but it should work out for a boosted setup. I would go with the 2.66 first if I were to go back though

Possibly. I popped my factory throw out bearing when it didn’t have the shim in it. Best thing is to measure and verify if you do or don’t need to shim.

@@252squad5 see i own an 06 explorer same motor all that. Ik damn well it’s not the trans.

I went with the long ratio t56 and honestly driving it it gets better mpg’s than the mt82 due to being a dual overdrive transmission. First and second are much longer though but overall it’s better in my opinion than the mt82 for being a dailyable transmission
