I was on that plane this years summer

Smooth landing. I just recently had the pleasure of coming into Tampa from the Bay side and the view is spectacular.

Just flew a Max9(United) and I swear it feels like we're up in the air in 35 seconds or less.

I once flew on American from John Wayne to NY-JFK, and damn, those 757s really do live up to their "passenger rocket" nicknames!

This departure method is actually quite dangerous. There's a lot that could go wrong during this critical time. This is when you want to have at or near full power, right after take off. Windshear is a big problem if it comes out of nowhere, especially since the airport is so close to the coast. Bird strike is another problem because they are so close to the coast. Loss of a engine that just throttled back to 50% or 60% is a really bad scenario as well. I still fly out of SNA every chance I get, it's cool. Depending on the pilot.....you actually experience zero G's as well as negative G's for a short time.

I'd actively take off with a higher flap setting to generate more aerodynamic noise just to spite the snobby people who built houses around an airport then complain about aircraft noise

I was in 17A, back row of Comfrot+ on a 757….AWFUL. Hard seat cushion, recliner mechanism was broken, and to make matters worse I had a “big person” next to me encroaching my seat space!! Beware!! I did complain to Delta and they gave me a credit, so that was nice. I really would have preferred just to be comfortable!

Don’t think Delta flys the ER. Alaska maybe, but not DAL.
