the absolute scariest part of this movie is when harold, who has loved frannie all his life, becomes essentially one of the "last men on earth" and asks if theres a chance for them to be together, and she cuts him off with "we will always be friends" but then she lays her head on his lap when they are playing the record that night 😱 i wouldve run away screaming 😫

I watched this miniseries with my family when i was a little kid. I am looking forward to seeing it again.

One thing i don't like about this movie, they sent the mildly retarded guy and the old black man.

Call Stephen King an eerily prescient prophet for our ages. Capt Tripps, AKA "SUPERFLU" released from a biosecure weapons base for biowarfare research and development running amok across the globe does sound a little too familiar in this day and age!

1994 vs. 2020: For the most part, the 1994 casting is awful. Sinese and Lowe do a decent job, despite an awful script. The 2020 remake is FAR better. Heather Graham is dynamite! Almost ALL the casting choices were better even the relatively unknown players. Dialog is less awkward. Plotting and staging is dynamic with some truly striking moments. HOWEVER, "Yeates" is pronounced "YATES", not "YEETS".
