Thanks for a great video and info.
Bronze is yellow You meant to say copper
8 MONTHS AGO 😭???!!¡
Lph400 is a good gun with older technology. Just gotta know how to use it. They are designed for the low pressure with the fan wide open. Some people crank up the pressure to make em faster but you gotta close the fan some so it doesnt split and so it doesnt dry the paint too fast. Not a big deal. A good painter knows how to make it work. The LVX cap was designed for waterbase but it works well for solvent and metallics and clear. I like the silver LV4 cap for flatter clear but its a little slow if you run it at low pressure and wide open fan
what's your RUclips name
The tech in that gun was way ahead of its time when released bro
good review! but yeah you gotta make sure that small hole on the top cap clean so it wont collapse in like like that also. i sometimes put some tape on the lid when its filled up to be safe it wont pop off
Man, that looks great. Hoping to be able to clear like that off the gun one day.
Good point on the slide hammer. Use it if u need it, sometimes its more than u need.
is that a solvent or waterborne paint system. just got my dv1 in tryna dial the settings down for me
I used every day tips last around 10 to 15 complete paint job. I bought 2 of this guns one for backup …….
Everything looked fine just would have masked a bit better and maybe kept a more parallel pattern to the panel rather than moving my wrist but all and all you won’t notice that in regular clear
I need a mini gun, can you recommend one. Ty
We use a forklift for these types of fender benders lol
Lol… not a bad idea…. Ima have to try it out one day
Them shoes are a huge L, but the song isn’t
🤣🤣🤣it’s flooding on this lil island I’m on… everybody here wear XTRATUFs
Song is 🔥
My favorite song in high school.. lil Wayne was a 🐐
what air cap and psi i love my te20 at 29psi for clear
It’s actually the Tekna clear coat gun…. Air cap is TE25…. I’m pretty sure it’s pretty much the same as the TE20 on the prolites…. It’s basically the same gun
Like the different style of video dude, keep up the good work stay grinding.
Great video but bruh wear a mask while sanding so you dont inhale the sanding partlcles in the air to your lungs.
Thank you for that I just finished doing a bumper but I didn't blend I'll do it on my next one
Looks fine to me👍
Damn that’s cool
Subscribe if u wanna learn how to paint
When I say I get my coverage in my first coat. That never means only give the car 1 coat of paint. Just want to be clear on that. I get most of my coverage first coat. Then I always go over it it a second coat then sometimes a drop coat. So coverage in the first coat doesn't mean one coat of paint. Remember there's coverage coats and then there's control coat, drop coat etc.. anyone who paint a car with one coat of base is crazy 😅 that's not Trigger 💪🏼 Wet em up big dawg 👊🏼
Like u told me before… we all do it the same ppl jus looking for u to make a mistake to make there self look better… appreciate u watching dog💪🏾…
Good job broskie.
Looks good. But, You are bending your wrist . Arm and hands needs to be robotic straight . It it was metallics it will show your fan pattern
Put the first coat on to thick.
Tekna Pro lite makes it look easy❤
Love that gun
Great skills and video💪
Appreciate it my guy… got more videos coming… make sure u sub and it that notification 🔔 too!!
Half the damn car is below the knees lol. 😂
In a video
Can you teach me how to prep area that you're using the aerosol can
I think ive made a video on it before but yea i will make another one.. its a easy process
So, I'm lil slow what was the trick?
I think the trick was to read the the fender as a solid color instead of a tricoat. But my question is did it work? Where the results autobiographyJR 🤔 come on cuzz you trippin 😅
Reading the Pearl white as a solid color and to be honest the color came out a lil darker than I wanted it to but close enough to pass but the spray out look perfect
😂😂😂what’s up trigga… yea I didn’t get the car once it was done…. I apologize but the color came out a lil darker… definitely a blendable match but a lil off..
@@hbryant1990 them pearls already a MF 😕 always. Only time they come out perfect is when you don't even try or care because the car in a price of junk then it'll match perfectly.
Looks like we use the same paint line.
I love it… works great for me… what do u think about it??
Are you using valorem basecoat? It's made by akzonobel. I like it so far been using it 5 months now. Used ppg deltron for 18 years
No i use sikkens autobase.. Ive never heard of Valorem. Im pretty sure its all the same.. ive used dyna coat and lesonal by akzonobel and its all pretty much the same
is valorem water based or solvent?
It's solvent. Yea Pretty much all the same. I use the same camera you used in this video I'm guessing it's used withe the sikkens/akzonobel systems.
Looking good. Ty
Appreciate you my guy
'PromoSM' 😝
Promosm ??
How do u mask ur jambs and then close ur doors. I keep getting sealer lines. And I back mask. Would like to see that. Ty
i will have to make a video on that.. it does seem like the sealer travels further in the jambs then base coat does some time... have u tried using foam tape in those jambs?
The Cloud is nice. It's the latest formula out there and the matches are better. And I think tech can even share better color matches. Just a lot more information then the MIX IT. I just started messing with it. but my boss is old school and want to leave things the way they are for now.
Yup… that’s what was explained to me. Hopefully it’s easy to use and I catch on quick… I will let u know how it goes for me
Thank u for ur time and help.
I see that you use sikkens paint. What clear do you use or like?
Auto clear pc… I kno sikkens have diffrent clears but this the only one the shop I work at buys… it’s not bad at all tho I’ve definitely used worse. What clear do u like?
@@hbryant1990 We have Sikkens Autoclear Energy Select LV and HSt 2 pack. I like the HS but it take a little longer to dry. I thought about trying Lessonal universal clear heard some good somethings about it..
Code 8555 not 855 🤣🤣 that color code been around before you and me both was born. Nice job my man. Glassed out 🙌🏼
Smooth my guy smooth
Appreciate it…
That is
That’s 🔥
Appreciate it my guy 👍🏾
Damn, wouldn't it be cheaper, easier and faster to just get a used door in nice condition? Thats how we usually do it in Europe, I never saw anyone replacing the outer skin only
Yea I hate doin door skins… I’m not sure of the price difference in doing a door skin vs. getting a used one…
Keep putting in that work fam 💪🏾💪🏾
Appreciate it cuz.. when u startin your YT channel??
Ayo what causes dry spray in clear coat
Not putting enough clear coat the spot it dry but most common mistake wit that is air pressure.. if the air pressure is to high it could cause it… what pressure are u spaying at and what gun are u using???
@@hbryant1990 2 bar and devilbiss gti pro lite
@@drogba2k10 u should be good to go then.. make sure gun spray pattern is right… sometimes u can get a lil bit of dried up paint or clear blockin those air holes causing uneven pattern so it ends up dry in some spots
