I have to give Chronobauble one really good compliment, there is basically no other item where you get ONE and then decide you dont need any more of them. For any character that has even half decent fire rate, you grab a single chrono and youre just fine now, whoever you shoot moves less. Lovely for getting deathmark usage, too

I would like to add that “Nevermore” is a reference to Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven”. “Quoth the Raven “Nevermore”’, which is why Heretic just squawks. Simple lil reference that just makes Heretic even more adorable to me lmao (also if you get the Ditto mod, you can transform into any enemy, and they all have their moves. I personally love to choose Magma Worm everytime)

Delicate Watch is an item which is neat in that it increases your damage, but ultimately better to scrap 10 times out of 10 because you're *not* going to dodge every little thing, and in the case that it breaks, every stack of it is an item permanently lost from the run, instead of the dip below 25% hp being a minor setback, it basically just dooms your run, because suddenly, you just don't have the attack power you should have, because instead of collecting reliable damage, you stacked into damage that ceases to exist permanently. Power Elixir and Dio's Best Friend are in a similar camp: You *Could* avoid death by using these, and then die after because, you still don't have the firepower for the situation because you got single use shit instead of anything long time reliable, or, you could just, have the items that keep you from needing those crutches in the first place.
