Little House On The Prairie In Minecraft! (Conquest Reforged)
I was one of many who grew up often watching reruns of Little House On The Prairie on TV. Recently I realized that this year is the show's 50th anniversary, so I decided to try and recreate the Ingalls family homestead in Minecraft using the Conquest Reforged mod.
This is in fact my very first build with the Java version playing on PC and it's also a first for me using mods. The first video that I uploaded on this channel featured a small Minecraft build made on Xbox using the Bedrock Conquest Reforged texture pack. So it was exciting to finally try out the real thing with this small but detailed build!

Great video. From all us plebs, thank you 😂
Cough*** get a pc *choking*** sorry about that. Yeah yeah consoles are great 👍🏼
I'd always wanted a gaming PC and actually finally got one just a month before making this video and I'm loving it!
@@RoboCharged hell yeah! Welcome to the brotherhood! And welcome to the addiction 😂
@@Lancelot_2882 haha thanks!
Most professional and straight-to-the-point videos I´ve seen so far about Uboat! Thank you
Thanks so much! I appreciate the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed them!
I’ve got a couple hundred hours in and I didn’t know about adding additional formations mid-battle. That’s why I come back to these basics videos! Thank you partner!
So helpful!
Have you or anyone ever had the problem where your captain is stuck in the idle position and unable to interact with anything?
Not personally. Fortunately I haven't come across that bug, is it in the normal game mode or play as skipper?
@@RoboCharged normal. It’s happened to 2 different saves at this point. Driving me insane lol.
@@gergq5888 Yikes hopefully they get that fixed! I think F11 can be used to send error/bug reports, hopefully they are aware of this issue.
What was your realism settings if you remember?
For this video demonstration I used a save file where I'd just picked the middle option for the first 2 presets where it asks: How realistic a simulation do you prefer? Balanced How involved in crew management do you wish to be? Intermediate Which works out to Realism at 46%. Normally I'd toggle Expanded Sailor Management and Hardcore Aiming Mode on as well however, which brings the Realism to 52%. Lately I've slowly been playing on harder settings when I get the chance and have started diving into the Play as Skipper mode. I'd like to maybe do a playthrough series with that when it is finished and no longer experimental.
@@RoboCharged Im new to the game and I have a hard time finding targets once i hear them. Id like to see them on map like you did, thats why I asked.... Thx
@@invictus4107 No problem! The single setting that directly affects that is called Contact Mode. As long as that is set to Normal then you'll see them on the map. I made a second video on my channel as well just after this one showing how I go about finding ships if you are interested in that.
i have seen people with an arial view of the battle comanding their troops, is that posible on consol
No at least not any way that I'm aware of. Unfortunately that is a mod called the RTS Camera mod available only for PC.
U know how to change the amount of ranks a group has?
Thank you for this 🤍 I’m running my ps4 into the ground with this game, I atleast want to do it with a couch lance
haha I'm happy to in some small way aid a noble cause such as this!
Thank you sir🎉
Thank you so much, amazing and complete guide.
Great video, perfect level of detail to keep the advice concise and on point
Thanks!
The feeling you get when you do everything step by step and still miss. I was a Silent Hunter III veteran and could put the torp wherever I wanted, I am missing consistently here, but I've only had the game for a week
Yeah it can take some practice. I started out by always saving the game right when I was getting ready to attack a ship and then would run it back until I managed to get a hit. It's a good way to get some quick reps in and an instant redo chance to figure out what went wrong each time.
This is bogus. My sub never is straight and steady like your vid. It is always rolling left and right, even when full stop.
Do you mean like when looking through the periscope? Because there is a periscope stabilization option when you start a campaign. It is usually enabled unless you are playing on harder difficulty/realism settings.
@@RoboCharged Yeah I am playing on the highest settings.
Mega helpful. Thanks man!
I just make 15 min hydrophone checks every 2h or so until I find a target. Observing ships is quite important especially when they have the wrong flag and you have to know where they are going to. By doing a check every 1-2h you also know the speed of thr convoi which can save some time later.
I play on mouse on keyboard on the ps4 but if i get tired i can use this thanks
Lately I cant even find any ships or convoys at all
Just as of late? Is that still the case?
8:03 You have let an hour go by on the stopwatch, not half an hour ....
It was only a half hour...if you look at the in-game time up at the top left it went from 21:24 to 21:55. It's hard to see but in that small circle on the stopwatch 6 o'clock is 15 and 12 o'clock is 30.
Does the placement of your attack periscope crosshair have any bearing on where the torpedos go? I would assume not as long as I am “locked” to a target ship and have entered the relevant targeting data, but I still seem to miss just ahead or just behind enemy ships.
I actually didn't think it mattered myself until just now so I'm editing my answer haha. I looked it up online and found answers on Reddit saying it didn't matter. However I always still bothered to keep it on the middle of the ship anyways so never tested it really. As it turns out it does matter! As before you fire if you move it a ways off the ship one way or another you'll see the AOB start to change rapidly on you. So definitely aim to have it on the middle part of the ship when you fire!
@@RoboChargedI just played around with this last night.. saved game right before firing and replayed the same scenario with different aiming points. It does in fact matter. Looks like we are both learning haha. Thanks
@@aaronb4936 For sure I still have plenty to learn about the game! I'm at about 50 hours but have only actually played maybe 35-40 and then spent like the last 10-15 putting videos together. I'm looking forward to learning more advanced stuff and playing on full realism, and then eventually play the Be The Skipper mode like that once it in no longer experimental!
alternatively (and what i prefer) is i dive and listen for 30 minutes to an hour to determine course and then eyeball an intercept course
Someone help me assign people get jnto the freaking siege engines during defenseeee
When holding down LB/L1 to give orders if you move the flag with the right stick over a siege engine it will turn into a blue gear icon. Then hit RT/R2 to have the selected formation go to it. It's kind bugged I think however. It doesn't seem to work in pre-deployment, and during battle non archers on the walls should automatically man them but obviously don't always do so.
@@RoboCharged Thanks a lot. It surely is a bug I tried it eveytime and no one goes there, but yeah after pre deployment 2 guys would run off to the siege machine. It kinda sucked since there's the walking time. But again, thanks and that response was quick :) appreciated it
@@jovyrivera7055 No problem, I wish they would continue to update and fix bugs in the game but it's been awhile now so I'm not too optimistic. A possible work around you could try is to create a new small 2 man or so infantry formation in pre-deployment and then place them right beside the siege machine. Then right when the battle starts put them on it and they'll be close to get to it right away.
great vid, totally simplified what was becoming an onerous game. Thanks.
That's great to hear so happy it helped!
Ngl. That area looks cook to build on. Where is it? Oxbow map or valley?
This is the Valley map. The very beginning of this video shows the location on the map ruclips.net/video/yHSv4v0D0kE/видео.html
@@RoboCharged ty brotha. Take care 💪
@@Lilicious55 No problem you too! If you are looking for a good spot in the Oxbow I uploaded a few screenshots showing where I am building my next village on that map over in my Community tab.
@RoboCharged I've already built on the oxbow map. It's near an Waterfall where there is a cave next to it. Somewhere between piastovia and that village with the docks
@@Lilicious55 Nice that's the spot I picked too haha!
I need to try this. I just started playing the game and the crew almost always misses moving ships with their calculations
This could be that you are not waiting long enough for the crew to do their calculations. In the map when you have a target selected, you can see a % in the upper right of the target box in the lower left of your map. This indicates the accuracy of the crews torpedo solution, and it takes quite some time to get to 99%. In my testing, if you wait until 99 or 100%, you are fairly sure to hit the target. I've also noticed the crew doesn't adjust for distance all the time as you get closer, which would throw things off. I typically manually confirm aob and distance before firing if I'm relying on the crew to do calculations.
@@kubejunkieI was waiting till 100 percent.. I was not aware of them not adjusting distance though. I’m really struggling to get decent hit consistently in this game. Even with manual aiming/solutions I more often miss just in front or just behind ships. Does the placement of the crosshair in the attack periscope matter at all? I wouldn’t think so but I was wondering. I am locked into target and double verified my inputs. And I click the button to send info to the TDC. Thanks for your help though
@aaronb4936 placement of the crosshairs matters. If you are off in front of the target, I would expect that your speed calculations are off or you are not targeting mid ship. I try to put crosshairs mid ship, like right under the funnel on a empire bell. For calculating speed, sometimes I full stop engines to get a more accurate reading. I would suggest you save on an approach so you can practice approach and firing solutions against the same target. For getting AOB and distance, you can use map tools. For example, if you put the bearing tool on the target ship when you can see it, you will know the 0 bearing for the ship. If you draw a line to your boat from the target, you will get the distance and with the bearing tool in place on the target, the bearing that line falls on will give you the aob. If you are on the starboard side of the target, the bearing will be your AOB exactly. If you are on port side, subtract the bearing from 360 and add a - and you will have the AOB. Port side, bearing 290 will be -70 AOB. This will help you until you can feel more confident in your guesstimate by eye. Oh and distance can be too far, try to be close as close as you can, within 2km but the closer the better. Just dont want to be too close, minimum distance of like 300m or you will run into more duds than you would like. Does this help?
@@kubejunkiethank you! I’ll try again tonight taking all that into account. Appreciate the help.
@aaronb4936 anytime. I love this game, and I know the journey you are going through. I was once in that position myself. I still miss or have duds, but it's a learning process, and I would suggest not worrying about realism too much until you are confident in your skills and slowly add more realism into the game. Happy hunting tonight. Let me know how you do.
Alarm status, captain with 3 sailors, and an officer with 2 also add to the range.
Thanks I wasn't aware of that! How do you give the captain 3 sailors? I've always thought 2 was the max.
@@RoboCharged it is a leader skill you can choose while leveling; "management"
Another excellent video! I'm just getting ready to setup my first torpedo attack but, didn't have a clue as to what to do after lining up the target. Cheers!
Thanks! Nice happy hunting and good luck!
Great video, thank you.
No problem thanks for watching!
Ya u left out how ta win 😢 Lol 😂tks nice vid 👌
I have 2 radio officers on 12 hour shifts lol i got tired of my radioman never being available when i needed him most. Now i always have one 😅
haha ya good point that is so damn annoying! I get a 2nd radio man as soon as possible as well and keep them on opposite shifts.
@@RoboCharged also since they don't need 12 hours of rest, I usually have them doing 4 hours of just helping with anything before resting. When i started learning the scheduling/priority system, I started having fun just managing the crew. Its a whole other system in the game by itself lol
@@michaelmorrigan614 Nice! Yeah it seems like quite an elaborate system! I honestly haven't looked into it yet all that much. I watched a video and mostly copied what was suggested with a few minor tweaks. I kind of want to start checking out some mods like the expanded crew one but I've been trying to learn the base game first. And figure most mods aren't compatible with the full release version yet.
Yes, I share the frustration with having only one radio man. Once I get my second, they turn into a hydrophone specialist and a radio specialist. Then they work 4hr on 2 hr off shifts corresponding to the dive schedule. Hydrophone specialist sleeps when surfaced, radioman awake for the hour on each side of the surface time. That's worked well for me and still has decent recovery time for extended alarm status. The scheduling can be pretty cool even with basic crew settings. I haven't even tried the extended crew option yet. I hope to see a video from you about it when you get a feel for it @RoboCharged.
@@kubejunkie that actually sounds kinda interesting. I have yet to set up a dive schedule. Does it automatically do hydrophone checks? Because that would save me from clicking the button so frequently
What an amazing video. I love how methodical this method is. Subbed. I share your love of games that cover periods of history. Looking forward to watching more of your content now that I've discovered your channel 😍. Cheers, and keep the great videos coming. It's criminal that you have +194,000 views on 44 videos but, so few subscribers!
Such a nice comment thank you I appreciate it! I'm glad you liked the video and my channel! I have Medieval Dynasty to thank for most of those views. I spent around 300 hrs building a village and it was what launched the channel. The lack of subs is likely due to poor video and audio quality and me taking a year off realizing I needed to save and invest in proper equipment. And finally take the plunge from console to the world of pc gaming. Also I was uploading some sports gaming videos as well so the channel had no clear focus. I had no clue how to edit videos and didn't even have a mic (just talked into my laptop one) or any way of capturing footage from my xbox at the time except streaming on twitch and then downloading it on my laptop haha. Now I have a full set up gaming pc, usb mic, dual monitors, proper software and have learned a lot! I'm really just now truly getting started so I'm excited! It's great to have you on board! Any suggestions for games to cover or ideas are welcome!
@@RoboCharged lol ... I replied to your msg yesterday but, I got distracted and think I might not have posted it since I don't see it here. Let me try this again 🤪 Exciting to be at the beginning of a new endeavour with the right equipment. I'll be looking forward to seeing how your channel develops and grows 👍 As far as suggestions go for titles, all I can think of off the top of my head is Burden of Command which released a free playable demo on Stream with tutorials; it's scheduled for release in 1Q2025. It is a hex based WW2 RPG that focuses on platoon/squad leadership (trust, respect, morale and experience). There's another downloadable demo called "Scramble: Battle of Britain" that is a tactical WW2 turn based aerial battle in 3D space game. People are always searching for content on emerging or releasing games so if you can get on free to play alphas and betas where there is no NDA, you might have some current content that is in demand. Many have Discord channels and have a channel for content creators to post. I'm following an FPS on Discord that is just getting started called "Combat Journals - Vietnam" - they have a website and a Discord. Also checkout Steamcharts and see what, within the scope of what you like to cover, has a large and consistent player base and make content around those games. I'm not a content creator but, if I was that's what I would do. But, again, I have no experience and really, not even a clue, as to what works and doesn't ... lol.
@@altostratus9342 Cool thanks for the advice and ideas.! I actually wishlisted Scramble: Battle Of Britain when I came across it recently but I never saw those other two titles before. They look interesting I'll have to keep them on my radar! I got discord not that long ago but haven't been using it much yet like I should. I have spent time going over Steam charts on SteamDB and it is definitely a great resource! It helped me start a list of upcoming games ranked by the number of wishlists. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is at the top of that list right now. I like the alpha and beta suggestion, I'll have to look into that!
I can’t Couch Lance help, my Ps5 controller’s R1 it somehow for switching weapon and the menu page it said for R1 “equipment switch menu” and I can’t change it. how do I fix this? Thanks!
R1 is for the equipment switch menu, but only if you hold it down. If you tap it it will couch lance providing you meet 2 conditions. 1 you have a couchable lance equipped and 2 you are moving fast enough on your mount at the time of attempting it. A white icon will appear at the bottom right of your screen when you are able to do it. To see if your lance is capable of couching you just need to check your spears stats in your inventory like at 0:23 of the video.
I think that means your lance isnt a couch lance
@@TheGanjologist Yes your reply is likely the case! I'm not sure what I was thinking with my answer to @zf1155 at the time, I've been away from console for awhile since I got a PC. R1/RB is for equipment switch menu like he says but only if you hold it down. Tapping it couches if you have a couchable lance and are moving fast enough. Thanks I'm going to edit that into my above answer.
Ausgezeichnet! This guide covered just what I was looking for. o7
Awesome I'm glad it was useful!

Absolute hero. Thanks brother
Excellent explanation, thank you for including the console buttons!

thanks mate ! this helped a lot i only wish it was easier to find the ships and to get the side angles..... everytime i run into them its on the nose or stern .... maybe you could make a guide explaining how to find ships and how to get those angles etc also heres a sub good job mate!
Thanks I'm glad this could help and it's great to have you onboard! Funny you should mention it, I actually have a video on that very subject in the works. I've been busy lately and it's taking longer than I hoped to make it but it is on the way as soon as I can finish it!
@@RoboCharged great take your time
That alarm nazi 😂😂😂
Torpedo solutions was one thing I struggled at even more than intercepting targets properly, but once I got good at them, it's one of the most rewarding feelings. I still get super excited watching the torpedo on the camera, and occasionally shout with excitement when it strikes 😅 Now im working on doing the TCS myself instead of an officer. One step at a time
Same here!
Your description at the beginning was exactly my struggle lol
haha Yeah I was definitely speaking from experience. The struggle was real!
excellent tutorial. cheers fella.
Thanks!
literally so helpful and straightforward... no annoying quips or jokes just info feels like i just watched a tutorial put out by the game company
Wow I appreciate the kind words thanks!
I guess I'm just frustrated that we can't use an advance command like on PC to just have troops march
The Engage command will cause your troops to advance while maintaining their formation.
If you don't play bannerlord on PC you miss the best parts of the game! You won't be able to play all the wonderful modds in single player and you can't join the big online events. So you will miss all the good stuff in the game so.... Why? PC Master rase!
Many people don't have a gaming PC or simply prefer to play games from the comfort of their couch instead of sitting at a desk.
Absolutely brilliant video, thank you!
Thank you so very much! I got bannerlord for my console yesterday, and the custom battle was a disaster. I was wondering why all of my units were charging even when I hovered over just cav or infan. And I thought that the commands without a shortcut were simply not unlocked. I've saved this, thank you again!
Ive a hell of a time targeting, and identifying but this guide helped...still trying to master it
One thing that worked good for me was making a few save game files right when I was about to close in on a ship. Then I could load them up whenever for practice and try and learn from misses by trial and error and just repetition basically.
When you really get the hang of torpedo targeting and can play the game on realism without target previewing and such, Uboat becomes a different game entirely and is so much fun.
I completely agree! I'm new to subsims and naval warfare games. In fact I'm actually new to PC gaming lol. But I've recently become fascinated with Uboats and have been watching every documentary and movie/tv show I can find on them. Then I found this game and I'm hooked! I just sunk my first ship playing on 100% realism and in FP play as the skipper mode and it was so satisfying. I love this game! Skipper mode is awesome, I can't wait for them to polish it more because that's how I want to play from now on.
A bit like the Snooker sims where you turn off Auto Aim :)
@@RoboCharged Not U-boat sim, but if you want to explore more sub sims, maybe also give "Cold waters" a go too. It's a cold war focused sub sim. I believe GOG might still have it on sale for something like $10. It's hard as balls at first though lol. But me, I'm a submarine nerd so I took the abuse. lol Sinking a soviet Romeo class from my Permit class (formerly Thresher class) sub is always fun. lol And in a way, it's still technically U-boat related. The Romeo class subs had their roots in the type XXI U-boat.
@@Justmemyguy Cool ya I actually added it to my wishlist on steam awhile back but then kind of forgot about it. I'll probably get it at some point. I haven't played any of the SIlent Hunter Series either. I'm likely gonna get Silent Hunter V to try out as well. From what I've read it's great with the Wolves of Steel mod. Wolfpack is another one I've been thinking about trying.
