Cambridge A1 Version 2 Amplifier Repair (With Audio Tutorial)
Fault
Amplifier Not Powering on.
F2 / F3 Power protection fuses blown, both fuses replaced T4A.
Amplifier tested via the Dim Bulb tester, and the bulb lit brightly.
Visual inspection confirmed failure of U8 Left channel Audio Output IC - TDA1514A.
U8 Replaced fixing the issue.
F1/F2 & F3 Fuse holders replaced due to oxidisation.
User controls and switches cleaned with De-Oxit to ensure noise free operation.
Amplifier fully tested working correctly.

Fault Cross talk and distorted Audio on both channels. Power supply to IC20 Input selection IC checked no issue found. Audio output from IC20 checked, confirming failure of the selection IC.
