(Finished Work) Wind-up Beating Heart-Inspired by Dankner & Sons Heart Charm
Wind-up beating heart with shooting stars.
Inspired by the 14K beating heart charm made by Dankner & Sons from the 1960s.
Two shooting stars are overhead with waves encircling the heart.
This was made from mixed materials with a vintage wind-up mechanism.
The inserted quote is from a Victorian Valentine’s Day card.

Thank you! I would probably look on eBay or thrift stores for vintage mechanical parts. Then when you get the movement you want, you can just build on top of that. :)

That looks so realistic! You should put a tiny speaker on the bottom of it, put it on a tree, and play a cicada sound on the speaker, you could easily fool a female cicada. I wish i could sculpt. But i cant. I tried to sculp a cicada but failed. I just gave up and threw the clay away. I tried to sculp a white rhino too. But it looked terrible and i got mad and threw the clay again.
