The Immortal Saga of Adem Jashari - Part II
In this first episode, I will cover how Adem Jashari rose to become the commanding general of the Kosova Liberation Army (UÇK) in 1993. Over the next several years, from 1993 to the start of 1998, Adem Jashari led the UÇK in numerous battles, using hit-and-run tactics to challenge the Serbian military’s dominance in Kosova. Through his dedication, the UÇK grew in strength, becoming a symbol of Kosova's fight for freedom.

Do they not have their own history to talk about? Anyway, I don't know whether one should spend valuable time to further attempt to comment.

and nobody from them fought for a big Albania !?A letter to a greek minister , that he is proud Albanian hahaha. The Filiki Eteria, also Philiki Etaireia (Greek Φιλική Εταιρεία; approximate German name: Society of Friends) was a secret society of Greek patriots and Philhellenes who wanted to achieve the liberation of Greece from the Ottomans and the establishment of a modern Greek republic in the 19th century. Oh, so sorry was not only arvanites ! Marcos joined. This organization was not founded by the Arvanites. If I were a proud Albanian, I would be stupid to fight for a Greece. Unless you see yourself as Greek or Byzantine Orthodox!

The main difference between Albanians and other Balkan countries is that all nationalities were created on the basis of religion. If one is an Orthodox Christian, one is automatically a Serb, if that person changes his mind and converts to Islam, he will automatically be banned by the Serbs and called a Bosnian. The same story with Greece, they deported hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Muslims to Turkey and made an agreement with Turkey to exchange the Muslim population with the Pontic Christian West Asians and made clear calls that you are only Greek if you are Orthodox is then they started calling every Orthodox Christian in Greece as Greek, including Vlachs, Arvanites, Pontic West Asians, Georgians suddenly all became the descendants of Alexander the Great. albanians in the other hand started to realise this in the beginning and started to identify their own people only through language thats when all albanians in different religons came together and spread awarness among other people thats basically how modern albania got created as a country and for albanians you only will be albanian if you spoke or speak albanian at home the religion is absolutely not relevant they learned from mistakes and a new war between Albanians like it happened before when orthodox Albanians (arvanites)fought against Muslim Albanians will never happen again 🇦🇱

Afro-Asiatic language family has branches that predate the entirety of Indo-European by thousands of years. Afro-Asiatic peoples descend from the Natufians, first to build cities and the first to create agriculture and in turn civilization. Their descendants were the proto-Afro-Asiatic peoples who seeded the world with the first ancient cities such as Jericho, Jerusalem, Qohaito and Memphis.

This documentarian has absolutely nothing to do with reality. The name Albanian or Albania does not come from the Albanian language. It was given by the Italians. There were no Albanians at that time. There was a group that spoke the Arvanitic language, which came from an ancient Greek race. Albanians are normally called Sceptars. Their country is called Skepeteria. The nominal Albania is of Latin origin. Italy created this state to have geopolitical interests in the Balkans. That's why Albania fought with the Italian fascists in the 2nd world war against Greece. This documentary shows the need to change the story about the interests of Albania for the immediate future, from fanatical nationalist groups, with a dream to grow their country. Sorros also gives a lot of money to this area because everyone knows his anti-Hellenism. Sorros gave a lot of money to the Greek party of SYRIZA with the then deputy minister Alexis Tsipras to give Skopje the nickname Macedonia. The Albanians know that if they work on this propaganda they will win the stolen history from Greece. Such policies sooner or later lead to war conflicts. The Greeks will not forget this. They will not forget that once again the Albanians betray the one who feeds them. Greetings from Brazil.

Arevanon as the origin place of Arvanites was mentioned by Anna Komnini long before Skenderbey. Modern Albanians are a mix of local populations and foreign imported populations by the ottomans. Difference between Northern and southern modern albanian is obvious. And most important of all , the greek revolution started by the Filiki Etairia (nowhere to be mentioned in the video) who promoted Hellenismus, not just independence from the ottomans. Arvaanites were approached by Filiki etairia , took an oath and gave their lives for the cause. No-one was forced by anyone to change their nationality or language. Last but not least , during the revolution there weren't Albanians but turkalbanians I.e. muslim Albanians who sided with the ottomans and fought against the revolution. What is the major religion of Albania today ??

From Pelasgian to Illyrian to Kosovar Albanian The Pelasgians, an ancient civilization, pre-Hellenic and pre-Indo European inhabited the Balkan region, including modern-day Albania. Although their language and culture are not well-documented, historians believe they were polytheistic and had a patriarchal society. Over time, the Pelasgians gave way to the Illyrians, a distinct ethnic group. The Illyrians are thought to have inherited the language and culture of the Pelasgians, and they, in turn, passed it down to the Albanians. This connection is supported by ancient authors, who noted the similarity between the languages and customs of the Illyrians and the Albanians. Fast-forward to modern times, and we find the Kosovar Albanians, who are the direct descendants of the Illyrians. The Kosovar Albanian language and culture retain many features inherited from their Illyrian ancestors, including linguistic and genetic ties to the ancient Pelasgians. Key Points: Pelasgians: Ancient civilization in the Balkans, polytheistic and patriarchal society. Illyrians: Inherited language and culture from the Pelasgians, distinct ethnic group. Kosovar Albanians: Direct descendants of the Illyrians, retaining linguistic and cultural ties to their ancestors. Albanian language: Contains elements inherited from the Pelasgians, as deciphered by Nermin Vlora Falaski in his book “Linguistic and genetic heredities”. Cortona, an ancient city founded by the Pelasgians, has a connection to the Tosk word (“DHE” synonym) used in modern Albanian. 😊😊

lol an Albanian made video. It was only the arvanites that fought for Greece’s independence. It was all Greeks from all parts of Greece that fought. Arvanites are Greek not Albanian. The idea that Arvanites are connected to Albanians typically stems from linguistic and historical studies, as Arvanitika which was the traditional language of the Arvanites. Ethnically they were Greek. Some historians and linguists point out these linguistic roots and migration patterns from areas that are now part of Albania which didn’t exist till later in history. Arvanites themselves see themselves as uniquely Greek with strong distinctions from modern Albanians. They often reject any identification as Albanian focusing instead on their long-standing Greek national identity and contributions to Greece, especially since they integrated fully into Greek society generations ago. Enough with the Albanian nonsense.

As a Greek, I deeply admire Albanians and take pride in our Balkans, the birthplace of many ancient, influential cultures. My own research, consistent with the Max Planck study, suggests that Armenian, Greek, and Old Balkan languages (including Albanian) are among the oldest branches of Proto-Indo-European, possibly predating languages like Ancient Egyptian and Sumerian. However, Elena Kokaqi's interpretations appear flawed. The citation around 12:10 may misleadingly imply that Homer’s language was predominantly Albanian and that Modern Greek is disconnected from Homeric Greek. This view is often perceived as Albanian propaganda by international scholars and literate audiences. Even if Albanian preserved more Homeric roots than Modern Greek, it’s likely due to Modern Albanian being another distinct branch of Homeric Greek, potentially more conservative than Modern Greek. Alternatively, shared roots could represent loanwords within an otherwise independent Albanian language. The table at around 13 minutes is totally inaccurate, suggesting either misunderstanding or a political motive: γορός appears in Aeschylus but as a spelling variant of γυρός ('rounded, curved, crooked', not "knee")-a word still used in Modern Greek with the same meaning. Compare γυρoς, 'gyros', the typical Greek street food prepared to form a rounded grilled meet, 'gyro-', etc.). μηνίω (not μηνιώ) is a verb meaning "to cherish wrath," with no equivalent ending (ω) in Albanian but in Modern Greek. Albanian mënia resembles μανία (mania), 'madness, mania, frenzy' in both Ancient and Modern Greek, but lacks fidelity in form. βοή still means "loud cry, the murmur of a crowd" in Modern Greek (compare βοή-θεια 'aid called for, succour'), and θρῆνος also retains its meaning. I could point out several errors in every line of the table. The table generally disregards apparent Modern Greek cognates of Ancient Greek words. It replaces them with Modern Greek synonyms of different etymological origins, misleadingly suggesting a break between Greek's Ancient, Medieval, and Modern stages. Moreover, other significant misinterpretations persist. For instance, γραῖα and γρια, both meaning 'old woman', and ἥλιος ('sun') exist in both Ancient and Modern Greek with the same spellings and meanings. Ms. Kokaqi’s alignment of ἥλιος ('sun') with Modern Greek αστέρι ('star') over Modern Greek ἥλιος ('sun') seems arbitrary, while the Albanian yll, and all the other dubious Albanian "cognates" in column 2 remain distinct in spelling, sound and meaning. Thank you for this otherwise informative and highly valuable video!
