Mostly i do think you're entirely right. I think you've convinced me and I'll skip asking for people to subscribe in my next videos i make on my two new RUclips channels i recently started to hope to monetize (unlike this one which is all unmonetizable). There are people who never subscribe by default and they know subscribing is a thing but they don't know why it would be helpful so sometimes the more specific call to action from a very big Creator who's calling out how over 50% of their regular viewers didn't subscribe and, and this is key, actually taking the time to explain if you did subscribe I might be able to get better bigger collaborations and sponsorship deals and people want to support that Creator they loved it might push them over the edge to actually subscribe. If people knew you needed 1,000 subscribers to get monetized they might take the effort to stop listening to the phone like it's a podcast and pick it back up to hit the button and subscribe, as opposed to thinking: "it doesn't matter; I get recommended the video either way."

hey, your video is awesome. Script, tumbnail, editing. But something in your voice and body language does not add up and that's why I'm closing the video early. Your voice is not bad, but the way you talk is always steady or goes from high to low, this makes you sound insecure. Almost all your gestures are from the outside to the inside or from a low position to a high position, your shoulders are always going forward as if you're afraid to take space on the sides. Your hands always come back together in front of your body together as much as this is a "power position" If your shoulders are forward and your elbows are tight to your body, you appear to be really insecure overall. hi like you my videos go under appceiated i thought it was a great vid but if you want some advise from a small creator try explain the terms your using like "cpm" and try focus on smaller creators for videos like this because we are the ones who need to know how to get monetized but cant get sponserships for obvise reasons but again great vid keep it up😀

Hey Bud... I've been editing for 20 years. Based on your A Roll, I can see that you have a pretty decent mic... I don't think you're using the proper audio in your edit. Ethier that, or your mic isn't configured properly. It sounds like the camera's onboard mic... Sometimes, your record settings can mix these channels via a "Stereo" clip... in that case you need to "breakout" the audio via 2-Channel Mono... When you do that... You get 2 channels with different sources... isolate both and listen to them individually to ensure you have the one with the cleanest audio... Hope this helps. Audio will kill the attention span of anyone watching... it's the quickest way to turn ppl off (which will drastically hurt your channel profile.)

I don't agree with this take.(somewhat) while yes you can get better at things like ideas thumbnails editing and such, they require an in depth knowledge of the youtube algorithm which is changing everyday and would require at least several months if not years of experience in the youtube/content space. They also need equipment to make certain things . most people starting out on youtube consists of children, people with other jobs or such who do not have the time to invest in what is possibly a failed hobby. It is an investment. I think you spend at least a majority of your time, energy, and resources to make a good(or in your case intentionally bad) videos. some people just don't have that. They need some assurance that this will be worthwhile and potentially pay for itself. A video of them going big due to the algorithm which would require luck may give them just that. also the platform has become oversaturated with millions of people pumping out things at a record pace that it could be hard for people to find a footing in the first place. I also don't think that would be stable. Doing a numbers game would take any amount of joy you had with it in the first place spending your time analyzing every pixel to gat the best click through/retention rate, views or such. that is a way to a burnout. and most importantly : children are stupid. most of them just put minecraft letsplays like it's 2012 and make a shitty ms paint thumbnail that says some dumb shit. most of them have the frontal lobe and cranial capacity of a peace of lettuce Also all the things I said above about kids being stupid I would know from personal experience(minus the minecraft letsplay) It's still ongoing also source : I made it the fuck up.
