Equalizing Cordellette with minimum extension
Просмотров 1228 лет назад
Just an idea on how to make a cordelette that is equalizing yet has minimum extension if any one piece of protection fails. BY NO MEANS IS THIS PRACTICE CONSIDERED SAFE! It's simply an idea to get wheels turning!
Trapped on Fandango A climber's story

This is simply a mirror post of some other climbers video. I don't know them, and I am certainly not featured in the video in any way shape or form. I'm posting this video for "educational purposes." A great example of what not to do...

Huge Slackjump

slackjumping.com This is me doing my largest slackjump to date. Rigged completely by my friends and I. Everything went flawlessly. I almost threw up afterwards due to the sudden influx of Adrenaline in my system. Yes, I was scared...

Highlining Pipestone Pass

This is me completing my first highline. Although short, it was immensely satisfying! Next time I'll do a longer one!
Bro got eagle mount in there
We just put in a brand new battery in our 2004 Toyota Sienna and now when we turn on the A/C, we get a click click click at one second intervals. It only happens when the A/C is turned on! WHAT could THAT be??? 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks you show me what is the problem.
And how to fix it now???!!
Remove the plastic vent it just pops out to have access to the 3rd screw
How did you fix it? I had exact issue like yours
Take a look at this thread that detailed how I fixed it: www.siennachat.com/threads/2008-sienna-making-grinding-noise-from-inside-center-dash.62287/#post-339278
I know this was 3 yrs ago but can someone tell me if there is one of these things in the rear also? I have this exact noise coming from under my steering wheel and in the rear. Thanks
Thank you
Thank you I’m having this exact problem in my 2007 Sienna FWD at around 220k miles.
Check the servo motors they have 4 I believe that control your A/C and replace if need be.
I have the same issue on my wife’s 2017. Found out it’s the woodpecker in the neighbors tree.
Any luck with this? mine is making the same sound.
Yep! Had a lot of luck actually. I wrote about it here. Take a look at this link : www.siennachat.com/threads/2008-sienna-making-grinding-noise-from-inside-center-dash.62287/#post-339278
Wow, we've got the same issue, first it made the softer sounds, then a few months later it started making the louder clicking noises. The A/C isn't working, it blows warm air (and it's warmer on the driver's side.). I've yet to work on it, but from what others show, it may be repairable simply by removing those actuators and cleaning the contacts inside on the rotary switch disk. (It senses the position of the actuator, and when it doesn't make good contact, it keeps moving and also stripping the gears.)
That's good to know. If you are more interested in the direction I am moving with this, you can check out the topic I started on siennachat.com. www.siennachat.com/threads/2008-sienna-making-grinding-noise-from-inside-center-dash.62287/#post-339278 The part cost me $150 (including shipping) and is supposed to be here Monday 7/29/19. I'm hoping to begin the repair on Tuesday, so I'll try to check back here and leave a comment on how it goes.
Same here. Ghastly noise and driver’s side staying warm
One look at the clouds in the beginning of the video should tell any climber a multi pitch day is a bad idea.
HAHA. You guys are hilarious. Just so you know the back story of this posting, check this link... www.reddit.com/r/climbing/comments/1i9gyj/the_nowinfamous_boulder_death_munter_from_the_56/cb2kot8 I AM NOT the climber in this video. They posted the video, and shortly after marked the video to "Private" because of all the negative attention they were garnering from it. I simply just posted a mirror so people could still learn from the terrible mistakes these climbers made.
I disagree with the posters below hoping you don't become a statistic. I hope you do so you can keep the rest of us that know what were doing from getting hurt by your terrible decisions
I hope you three have burned all your gear and sworn off climbing forever. You obviously started way too late, pushed on in the face of lightning and didn't even remember essential gear such as a belay device. The fact that you had to ask the dispatcher if you were safe shows your stupidity. As a SAR volunteer its people like you that put others in danger simply because you are too stupid. You three are perfect examples of how sometimes SAR ruins the process of natural selection.
The gene pool is dangerously thin. No more proof needed.
You guys are idiots. Your judgment sucks. I hope you don't end up a statistic like so many other stupid climbers.
My only hope is that Search and Rescue confiscated all of the climbing gear from this party so that they won't be able to put anyone at risk again. Not only did they disregard the approaching severe weather but were unable to figure out how to descend less than 2 pitches without assistance and in so doing endangered the lives of the rescue team. Then to top it all off they made a snappy little video glorifying the escapade. Please do us all a favor and take up a sport like frisbee golf.
Holy cow... there was once a time that I wished I had joined you on the slackjumping adventures. That time has just passed. :)
Nice vid Trev. I miss Moab, I dig the south park horsey rids ^__^. L8TR -Jeff
NICE WORK TREVOR!!! You are making me really REALLY jealous! Have fun.
