I have a fiddle fig issue that I hope you can help with. My fig is dropping most of its bottom leaves. All leaves are now at the top with an empty trunk. It is about 2 feet tall. What can I do?

I just transplanted my fig and all the leaves turned dark brown (not dried up nor patchy) overnight and is not returning back to green.

I bought mine and I didn't know how to take care of it and it died😭. I will buy again bcs I love indoor plant and thank you for the info
