Yeah Fat Max all the way. They last me a long time and when somethin' happens to it, well; it's a lifetime tape. At least at the Depot. I haven't paid for a tape in a very long time. I've tried a few of the other 1" tapes like Klein and Lufkin and one or two others but, I'm always back to the Fat Max. There ARE a couple out there though that have a slightly longer breakover point. If I remember right though, the end catch end catches are just too big on those......and I really don't need magnets in the end EITHER.....lol.

Mounting my streamlight on a 10” ultra slim handguard I used the sticky adhesive then secured the pressure pad with zip ties. So far so good. 🤞🏾

You must have a ton of money to just do a mag dump with 450 bm. I have the exact same upper, and put more weight into the buffer. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. Hope it works like yours. Thanks for the video.

I've been running one for several months. It replaced a milwaukee magnetic end tape that had the worst hook on the end that I've ever seen. My only issue with the Klien is that its load and sometimes I need to pull measurements in a occupied location like a office.

Love my HL-X! Arisaka inline to put it more forward on an sbr with lil rail space. Shaffer mlok button mount ($35). And I just seen a guy on RUclips drill the holes out just a touch and out mlok nut/bolt right through each end hole and that on mlok rail! So lo pro!!! But I do have the cable control plate under my Shaffer touch pad mlok mount. About 1/2”-5/8” thick above rail plus touchpad thickness. Works great and under $200 altogether. I got the 88071 model that comes with an 18650 rechargeable and also uses cr123’s! I’m wondering if I can put a “jack cap” on it and get another button on the back of the light itself along with the 2 button touchpad? Anyone know??

The mounts for the pressure switch work very well in my opinion and they have a slot to secure the cable they keep it very clean

mlok is not combat effective, it is a substandard system.

Had the same issue with a BCA side charging 450 BM upper but I was using H2 buffer with a red Springco spring. Didn't need that heavy setup. Swapped in a standard carbine buffer and spring, now it works as it should. Had the same experience with a 7.62x39 using too heavy of a buffer and spring. Running a A2 buffer and rifle spring with an A1 length stock and that 7.62x39 has cycled flawlessly for 100 rounds so far using a 10 round C-Prodcuts mag with Wolf ammo.

Do they make a tailcap to attach this to a Unity TAP pad?

Very interesting how you adamantly dispel the argument of Spring and damage issues. The video I watched right before this spoke specifically about The damage caused overtime to a specific system using T Max fully loaded. Worse is that it's not damage to the mag which is easily replaced its damage to the actual weapon system. Ironically enough your explanation of what's happening and the fix for it, Support the very argument we're claiming that you are so adamantly dispelling. You have a 30 round magazine that you can fit 31 rounds into. As you show in your video once you put 31 rounds and there is no leeway there's no give. If someone is having the same experience with 30 rounds, And the remedy is to remove one round thus Easing the tension from the Spring And giving it more leeway , making it possible to insert and lock the magazine in a closed bolt configuration, I'd say that suggests there is something too the argument of the Spring tension. I also don't think it's a silly argument. Having Only ever loaded full 20 round GI mags into GI weapon systems and having never had the experience A full 30 round mag not locking into the well, until I loaded a pmag into my own AR; It was an extremely disturbing feeling that I might have purchased an Is improperly machined weapon. Fortunately The armorer at the range having knowledge of what you have called a silly argument, Was able to reassure me that taking one round out of the mag would likely solve my problem or simply locking it from a open bolt configuration. The other suggestion was to you steel mags. So when I put 29 in my 30 round magazine, It actually is because of the Spring tension not allowing A full mag to properly seat. It has everything to do with Spring tension and nothing to do with my desire to do a Faster tactical reload.

You do want the side charging upper when deer hunting off your tree stand etc. You can control it better when loading a round in the chamber. It just doesn't slam as loud.

I have mounted on the bottom side of the handguard, 6:00 position attached to the mlok.

My BCA .450 Bushmaster is the best single shot AR15 I own. (All my other AR's are semi automatic)

3M tape is very strong. People use it for gopro mounts. They only remove with heat. I got this light for my Beretta 1301. The forend doesnt have Mlok so im using the 3M tape for the switch.

I am having this issue, I sent it back to BCA and they said there was no feeding issues. I have bought the H3 buffer but not yet installed it. Also I use the receded Hornady black and the ASC mag.

I always load max .. But I got 1 30rds magazine idk if it broken or what but it only fit 29 only if I load 30rds of 556/223 it won't lock in the ar 15

I guess the upside to BCA is that they create new gunsmiths by necessity with every upper sold.

BE CAREFUL ANY WAY : GEL ones are... EXTREMELY FRAGILE !!!...mines didn't last 2 months of normal use (7 times maximum)...i am searching basic ones, even is i have to sacrifice comfort...
