Relief Registration T & Line with jig
Jeeeeez! Your work is terrific!
Super helpful video! Are you able to pull any ghost prints using this method?
Nice tip on the registration process for transferring the image
this is a well demonstrated and clearly explained process. great video, thank you
Great work. Great skills sir
this is great. thanks
Love your work! You are a superior teacher! Subbed 😍
DUDE: That's awesome work! I'm a comic artist, just starting with lino (again). Your video pushed my motivation even further. Thank you very much for showing your process in such a transparent way. Best, B (1 question: For priming, like you did with the red marker, could one use also something like thin gouache? What do you think.)
fascinating, how well you could draw direct on the screen
Very nice!
Are you using water-based acrylics or oil-based? I think I heard at the end something about oil-based, but don't see any description of the materials you're using here. GREAT video for a beginner!!!
Using oil base ink or you can use a hybrant oil water clean up ink as well. Cranfeld makes great versions of the ink
Fascinating!!
Wow, beautiful print and inspirational vid. Thank you.
The scary part ffor me is lining up the paper.
How can trace my lesser print into stone
Take an image and flip your design- if it is the size on a copier, some copiers have a mirror button option which will flip image. Then we transfer line work or shapes with a firm pen and a iron oxide rubbed on newsprint transfer sheet. Thanks
thank you it was perfect.
Love this video
Amazing. Love that piece. Great presentation.
Why didn’t you show how you apply the ink?
looks great!
I've binged quite a few linocut tutorials and this one by far is the most concise and informative for a beginner. The highlighter tip at 0:13 in particular is golden.
What a wonderful process. 'm going to give this a go. Can you use a 305 mesh screen for this? What screen were you using?
Simply amazing. Such a fine polish texture. Kudos to you.
Blotting the screen filler to get that texture was genius. Really enjoyed your process, thanks for sharing!
very curious what the benefits/drawbacks to the drawing fluid/screen filler method instead of the typical transparency method
This was done during covid when students were working without photo emulsion and transparencies. Also these techniques can be performed in combination with photo-emulsion screens. Thanks
Can a photograph/silk print be done on a canvas? What other surfaces are alternatives for an aspiring visual artist like myself?
This is very educational and great tps
Love your videos, clear and simple
Very beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your process.
Whoa! This is what I needed to see; simple easily accessible tools and materials! Tired of buying various polishes, Alumicut, and 10 kinds grits of sand paper! Thanks
Can this type of print be transferred to fabric as well?
I just have not tried it and do not know how well it will set up on fabric. Give it a try and good luck.
Love your videos, can we please have some more?
best wishes from India 👍
So very helpful and educational.
This is a really cool technique!
I’ve been screen printing for about 8 years and was looking for a way to get a more painterly effect. Your process videos are very good for those looking for more advanced tips. Thanks!
Wow 😳
Great work
do you have website?
i wanna do this so bad. where do i start?
These videos were designed to do at home or in your own studios. Build a base with hinges. Speedball screen filler, drawing fluid, acrylic inks, spray adhesive, wax paper mat board pieces and strips, sponges and bucket of water.
Perfect. so I have ro try it out. Thank you.
Thank you for an encompassing and detailed insight.
Excellent demonstration - thank you. Subscribed!
You are making unique prints by incorporating mono printing and stencil printing. Mono printing does not use a stencil matrix .
I just love the watercolor effect with either a photo technique or a solid acrylic color included to bring it all together. Thanks
That was incredible 😍😍
And let me add: also a very nice work of art, one of the better prints I've seen here in a demonstration. Nice to see traditional methods are still alive.
A very articulate presentation, printmaking in general is awesome!
This is so gorgeous! Reminds me of a Goya drawing.
yeah stabbing yourself with one of those isn't fun. slipped and stabbed myself in the side of the hand once. went in like half a cm, which doesnt sound like a lot but its enough to hurt! ><
So good!
