Taking a Chance on Myself with YOUTUBE (restarting)
Hello, it's been a while since my last video 🫣. I'm trying to take content creation more seriously and be more consistent with uploading videos. I need to figure out how to balance this with a demanding job but I trust that as long as I want to, anything is possible 😊.
I will still be posting life in finance videos but will also not restrict myself from other types of content.
I'm also opening a new instagram account for content creation.

A few not so typical days in my life as an analyst as I head to Tampa with my coworker to visit our firm’s Tampa office. Still had to work hard, especially because it’s portfolio review season, but was able to fit in a few nice meals as well as have some fun around the city. ✨Subscribe here: @nikitatang www.youtube.com/@nikitatang ✨Connect with Me Instagram: @nikitatanggg Email: nikitatangg@gma...

First video! I’m currently prepping for the CFA Level I exam and thought it would be helpful to share some of the information I learned through my research. This video provides an overview of what CFA is, who it’s for, why you should take it, and some other good to know information before deciding to commit to this not so easy task. 🛠Resources CFA Institute CFA Program Webpage: www.cfainstitute...

wow thank you nikita for the process overview ❤❤❤❤
Can you not speak a sentence without pausing after every word?
Please do not quit RUclips? Are you in other platforms as well?
Are you also a part time model?
I found your videos this year at a time when I was searching for a job (still searching) and was living through my own existential crisis (turned 40 a week ago). The perfectionist maximalist in me sees you...sooooooooooooo hard to start things, especially things some would deem "stupid/just a hobby/waste of time". First of all, when I was watching your previous videos, I was surprised how adultish you sounded in your vlogs and when you talked about your work, I thought back to when I was your age, and I was NOWHERE this mature. I was also surprised how you seemed like this is what you wanted and studied for and seemed to be fine with all the late nights and crazy amount of work. So I am very surprised by you saying you are afraid of getting older, but I also feel like you were thrust into adult life much faster than I was. I didn't start working until I was 26 and even then I felt like I was still so young in my thinking and ways of living. But then a lot of things happened fast, my mother died, I basically didn't talk to my father for a year, my relationship of 4,5 years ended, I developed illnesses and also started work. So I don't think of that time so fondly. I also remember thinking at your age that I am so much more behind in life than all my compatriots, they were in marriages, had apartments/houses or were planning these already, they knew what they wanted to do in life, bla bla. And time is running by so fast... Let me tell you, I turned 30 and all of these thoughts went away. The pressure people put on themselves to do or be certain things in their twenties....it's a myth and a self imposed jail. You don't need to do that. Then again I feel like you can only learn this with age, in your own sweet pace. I can tell you whatever but you need to experience it yourself. But I am glad you want to do something outside of work just for your own self. Everyone needs something else, beside work to fulfill them, whatever it is. The older I get, the less I want to appeal to anyone and everyone, the more I get back to my child self, where I do what I enjoy, and don't care what others think. Yes, sometimes I still get into the mindset of "it's too late, I am already too old to do this or do that, accomplish this or that". But then I remember - as you pointed out - we only have one life (at least this is what I believe in) and I already have a lot of "I can't believe I did this" moments that I look back fondly on, and unfortunately my health is not the best, so who knows how much time I have to make more of those moments. So I need to get back on grinding out my bucket list asap! Looking forward to watching your videos!
0:51 that's what I call a deal.
Watching your journey unfold is quite inspiring. The way you’ve transitioned from finance to documenting your life so candidly speaks volumes about your courage. Your reflections on fear and self-doubt hit home for me as I’ve been wrestling with similar thoughts. It’s not easy to put yourself out there, but seeing you do it gives me a bit more courage. Keep doing what you're doing - it’s real, and it matters.
Thank you for the kind note ❤️
I found this very helpful as an econ student.
Great video 🤍🤍
🎨
Very good video! You have a lot of talent for photography. By the way, what is your camera?
Thank you, I’m using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
Super inspiring and genuine Nikita! Hehehe
Some of the biggest RUclips stars were not focused on business, but just using it as a hobby outlet to have fun. They were surprised when they learned what they were doing for fun could lead to earning enough to make a living from it. So I think that's one of the keys for success - just doing it for fun and not worrying about whether it becomes a profitable venture. You're in a field that attracts attention so informative vids on salary structures, bonuses, and promotion career paths will typically get a lot of interest. Outside of work- the challenge is finding the intersection of things you enjoy doing that you think others will have an interest in as well. Have fun!
Welcome back’ Would still love to hear about your private equity experiences.
3:50 Asking questions like this is a good way to be more true to yourself. What deeply matters to me? What makes me feel alive? How can I make my life more meaningful? Benjamin Franklin once stated, "Some people die at 25 and aren't buried until 75." Oscar Wilde wrote, "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." In the film Titanic, Rose states "he saved me... in every way that a person can be saved" because Jack helped give her the love for herself that she needed to live the life she wanted. Author Natalie Babbitt wrote, “Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of an unlived life." A question that arises from these - What do I need to do before the end to know I truly lived my life?
As a girl who has similar interests at the intersection of finance and creativity, you’re incredibly inspiring. Can’t wait to see what you do!!
@@emmyyadelle thank you, it feels great to know that I’m not alone ❤️

At 24, you're still a youngster! At 40, you start feeling kind of old 😅

Hello. Please tell me how you can very quickly agree on a 50 billion M&A program with an employee or trainee of an investment bank? My Data Room - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Z9C4IoooWNG99_7SxsP9jV5tVPL-90O7dXridFZewRc/edit#gid=0
what a shit life
As an European with a 37-hours work week I would never want such a life for myself... Remember that you work to live, not live for your work.
Good luck in CFA worthwhile journey.... don't miss studying however
Great job.. perhaps see you on CNBCone day;
Uni nigiri was the easter egg?
what's your headset 2:59?
As an analyst, do you have any face-to-face contact with clients? Is there any sales/negotiating involved?
As far as I understand, that’s more common with associates and roles above that, but analysts don’t get a lot of time with actual clients and instead do a lot of the ‘dirty work’
Depends on the firm but yes, as an analyst I do get to interact with management teams from the companies. If you’re working in an investments role, you would focus more on deals vs an IRBD role would work more with clients, which are LPs for funds.
Nice video Nikita! Keep going. I'm also looking forward to establish a career in the PE industry, and I hope to hear some advice from you. In the meantime, as you mentioned you are preparing your CFA exams, probably I can offer some help if needed as I'm charter holder and I passed all exam in first try.
Did you pass your Level 1 CFA?
No😢
Thank you for following up, I did pass last year, hopefully I’ll make a video on it
Thank you for the video. Please consider making career guide for private equity, so that it helps with interview preparation and career advancement. Thank you. You can charge a premium for that too.
