The thing at the end of the light Russian machine gun is a flash suppressor. When fired, it hides the flash, which makes it more difficult to spot. Great pick-ups! 👌 Your wife did a great job in picking up some fab pieces for your collection 😀

His uniform is supposed to be the herringbone uniform used in WW2 and Korea. The M-16 was aVietnam era weapon. He should have the M1 grand or M1 carbine along with his 782 gear, which should be the belt straps, canteen ammo pouch. The Eagle eyes make him look scared.

On a completely pointless tangent, Fallschirmjäger is a compound word in German made from fallschirm (itself a compound word from Fall - which is about falling, declining, or dropping - and Schirm - which is the term used for umbrella) and jäger which means hunter (which were primarily suited to be scouts, runners, and sharpshooters, so they become the equivalent of American "Rangers". As a result, I frequently imagine Aragorn (from Lord of the Rings) dropping from the sky with an open umbrella whenever I read that word.

Great video Action Fan , i don’t know how to remove the yellowing off the helmet but there’s probably some video that would show how too ,I have a real fallschirmjager single decal helmet & smock as I collect German militaria both have the insignia & the camouflage on the real smock is nothing like the one on fallschirmjager action man but I love the palitoy version I don’t have it I have the panzer officer from my childhood & Africa korp , the Japanese imperial soldier , The SAS action man & The 1969 Aquanaut… I’ve got to search for the Falllschirmjager action man to add to my collection keep up the great work cheers mate Murray from Oz 🇦🇺👍

Loved it,, we shouldn't be squeamish about the swastika should we..its factual, it happened, but yeah, it's touchy...I was wondering after looking at some pictures of the real paratrooper smocks, these aren't far off in pattern, but the colour is too lurid, I had a thought that a weak tea solution might tone it down add a sort of dirtier look for realism, trouble is, it's an expensive experiment... Also...if you hit 1k subs, would you consider doing some merch..I'd love to buy a t-shirt mate, an it might help fund some bits for you..???..Big love pal.😊

Its a shame palitoy kept using that camo design for a lot of different varied uniforms. Think it was a bit of laziness and probably to save costs as well maybe? Still a great uniform though!
