How do people think that Strickland was the reason this fight was boring? Strickland was engaging the entire time. Costa was constantly on his back foot and backing up the entire fight. Have any of you ever fought someone that does not want to engage and constantly backs up? You’re options are to carelessly run in swinging and if you don’t want to make the fight even more boring by taking it to the ground, your stuck with a fight that goes like this one did. Costa just backed up and used fancy footwork dancing around the cage with no intentions of doing his part to provide a war

I'd agree with most that the fight wasn't judged properly by the rules. IMO, people who waste time and just grind on the fence or even on the ground and accomplish nothing should be penalized.
