It blew me away when I watched this on Dec 4, 2011 for the first time, and reminded me of how much it mirrored my own life at that time. My whole life then had changed in what felt like moments -- a dear friend had moved away, another one had just died, my father was just placed in a hospital for advanced alzheimer's. When Bree said "How did I lose everything" I just about fell out of my chair. Pure writing genius when Mary Alice said: "I'm not unhappy". This scene was beyond emmy worthy! There are no words to express how powerful it is when the camera pulls back to reveal Bree is alone. Just brilliant!

This scene was so dark and powerful. I remember thinking that the show really could get away with killing off Bree, being in the final season and having everything come full circle. So glad Renee burst in.
