No. Unfortunately the cheaters on official are too rampant and completely suck the enjoyment out of the game. I play on vanilla community servers as close to the official game as possible. This was on one of the 'Spaggies Vanilla' servers which is essentially official without the cheaters. 👍

@Shottoff you do well enough, there are plenty of PVP gods out making content. This video reminded me of the reasons I love this game. Those solo adventures across the map on Vanilla. Hitting camps for clothing and the tundra houses in the top corner of the map. Something so immersive about those runs.

@@nicholasmiller835 Very true. I definitely feel like this is more of a survival game than it is a PVP game. I can only play vanilla just seeing some of the modded servers out there is an eye sore, that isn't DayZ to me.

Appreciate that mate. It has a big learning curve, I'm still learning stuff myself. Try not not to get discouraged cause you are going to die A LOT in the beginning. I would suggest playing the vanilla DayZ as well. If you're on PC the official servers are sadly riddled with cheaters so I would suggest playing on Spaggie, Zero or DayOne servers. There are a ton of guides on youtube as well I would suggest checking out @WOBO and @AlwaysStreams but there are HUNDREDS of videos you can check out. Hope you enjoy the game theres not quite anything out there like this game. 👍

​@Shottoff I enjoy the Spaggie servers but have a ping over 100 as I'm in Canada. It's still worth it, good interactions when the severs are busy.

@@Mugwortcircle Yeah they're the closest servers to official out there I think. I'd love to play on official but it just feels like a waste of time with the cheaters sadly. I'm the same when I play on DayOne servers but I have to say DayZ is the only game where you can have over 100 ping and it still feels alright!

Yeah learning curve of dayz is so much different in comparison to other games, it's 1000% harder, co U need to spend a large time playing, if U play with people who play it for long time, they will teach you then the process is faster, but if U play solo is much harder in my opinion (from my experience)

Funnily enough this was the game that made me bite the bullet on getting a PC in the first place. I waited years for a console release and I thought it would never happen. I'll have to give it a go one day cause I definitely feel more comfortable using a controller to mouse and keyboard. I'm on PS5 sadly and I don't think theres crossplay for DayZ. :(

Nah mate sadly not, really enjoying dayz content from you atm! Might have to invest in a pc with all the servers and that

@@paulgrainger4855 I appreciate that mate! Yeah I imagine coming over from console to PC would feel like a whole new world. Although I much prefer playing vanilla servers to some of the way over top servers you can find. It's just a shame the official servers on PC are pretty much unplayable because of the cheaters.

I actually thought about using one however I don't think I've ever used one in the game before and its a case of having to unpin the thing as well which I'm sure he will have heard me doing and knowing my luck I would only end up blowing myself up 😅 In hindsight I definitely should have given that a chance. That's another thing about this game each death is usually a lesson on what you could have done differently. It's a great game once you get the hang of it and thanks man I appreciate it. 👍

I’ll be honest with you this is probably the weirdest game I’ve played regarding aim assist. Sometimes it feels like it’s working and sometimes it feels non existent. Although it’s a lot better now than when the game first released.
