Another "lost"vid that I'd never gotten around to editing. Along with the crap weather, technically, nothing much went right that day. My Sony pocket audio recorder failed to capture the lapel mic's audio, hence the dire narrative audio throughout. The auxiliary camera at Victoria station failed to capture any "insert" footage, due to a duff s.d card. That said, I did get to see "Black five" 45...

Roding Valley lake 11-3-2024

My daily walk around Roding Valley nature reserve always brings something different to see. This morning's highlight was watching the resident Mute Swans nest building on one of the lake's islands. Last year the Pen sat on (presumably) infertile eggs for about two months, while the Cob spent more time than he should have chasing everything off of the lake! Let's hope that the Cob is a bit more ...

Sometimes things just don't work out. I've had this in the pipeline for sometime now. For what seemed like a pretty straightforward vid to make, it was flawed from the start. I couldn't even to get the name of the track right. I was just about to throw the towel in, then a phone call from my sister saved the day. Oh well, there's always a next time.
