You may be able to try and set it up like a smoker. However the ring isn't that tall. I have put a rack on the top of that ring and set ribs up there and try to use it as a smoker it works okay however you have to set it up for indirect heat correctly I made a makeshift deflector part of my barbecue to block heat. I did have an issue with that one time. What I did was the two tabs that hang down I've bent them outwards towards the kettle itself and they stay in there completely firmly. I actually just did a rotisserie rack of ribs today and when I was looking at my tabs one of them was a little bit loose so I pulled it out and bent the two tabs that hung down I bent them outwards towards where the kettle would be and then I push them back down and it spring loads the tabs so they don't move I think this would help you greatly. If you're not quite sure of what I'm talking about I can make a short video clip for you. I hope this helps

@@kevinpearson3820 another question for ya, have you cooked anything by putting the grill grate on the top rack? It almost gives it a Pit barrel cooker feel like that

The things that you see in the front are the bowls and the plates I have never tried to cook on those. However in the back right is the skillet and I use that all the time in my house and it Cooks just like any other stainless steel Skillet would. I actually like the cook set very much after using it for over a year the pots range in very big from almost bigger than what I need to a smaller size which works well for rice and other things.

@@kevinpearson3820 Much speciation the feedback Kevin. It's really nice to read that it cold about the same as any stainless steel pot. Makes a difference in the coming oil you take and the type of man you can achieve. For car camping I would rather choose stainless cooking results compared to some possibly burned food on a lightweight aluminium set. It's probably easier to clean too. I don't know you have one or not but it's stainless steel. I've had mine outside for over a year now and it doesn't rust it looks like it's still brand new other than some discoloring from heat which you get from any stainless steel so I don't see any problem with it. It is definitely stainless steel. I did my homework before I bought it and was in contact with camping Moon before purchase.

Oh yes I would rather have this 100% over the fire side fire pit. You have to keep replacing the stainless steel mesh every few times it is used it which not many people really explain to you that the stainless steel mesh gets brittle and just becomes useless. They wear out even faster if you are trying to cook something. Camping moon is a far more durable product and far superior if you are wanting to do any sort of cooking with your product. Oh yeah and it's way easier to set up and looks cooler.!

This thing is amazing I can't wait to get out and do some camping videos with it I have used it quite a few times just don't seem to have the camera on me when I do. But we'll try to get a video out soon it is worth every penny especially compared to if you look at the price of the snow peak

Yes this is I believe potentially larger than snow peaks largest I do not know if they have the 55 size in their lineup I can't remember. However it is made just as strong and as durable and has just as quality components as the snow peak I actually prefer the camping moons grill attachment set up to the snow peak which comes with the camping Moon product the snow peak grill does not come with a grill attachment everything there is a la carte you have to purchase everything separately. The two clips are plenty strong the Australian knockoff version does have four from what I've seen the snow peak versions unless they have changed it since I have looked last do not have any clips attaching it to their base plate. @@kevinpearson3820 thanks, I ended up buying one. Was a bit dissapointed that he quoted sizes were deceptive, but it is still a decent sized fire and well enough made. More than happy with this over the other knock off versions. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of modifying and strengthening mine-with some stainless TIG welding- and I’ve been really happily surprised by all the camping moon aftermarket bits you can get for them-different grills and stuff. Just a little tricky to get that stuff as I have to try to deal with camping shops in a Thailand or across SE Asia. I’ll be building a stainless folding smoker box/oven for the top of mine one day.

The fitment is a little on the loose side but the main part that I noticed is the holes where the rotisserie rod goes into and out of the ring to create a little extra air that goes through making it a little bit more difficult to regulate the temperatures as far as for a pizza oven it works amazing the rotisserie takes a little bit of getting used to but other than that if you set your calls up right and don't put too many in there you will be fine I have learned with it that a little bit of charcoal goes a long way you can always add more but it's hard to take it out. I do think for the price you really can't beat it it is a fun addition to a Weber barbecue I actually use the ring adapter portion for slow cooking as well I used to grill grates and I put a heat deflector on the lower section creating kind of a Komodo style barbecue.

Yeah I really love the product. I don't even go out to eat for pizza anymore. For the price you just can't beat it I've also used it in other ways to make my Weber into a giant smoker with a heat deflector it works great.

Yes it will turn a turkey. The motor mechanism is very strong.
