Bora Bora (4K), French Polynesia & Tahiti
Bora Bora, the name says it all, one of the most beautiful islands on the planet and by far the most famous island of French Polynesia does not disappoint. The lagoon is just wow. The best thing to do is maybe to rent your own boat or to hire a captain to explore the azure blue waters (incl. manta and blacktip shark snorkeling). From the Motu - the surrounding islets - you have the best "Bora Bora" postcard views. What fascinated us was how easy it is to find your own isolated beach of paradise on an island that well-known. Also a nice experience was a day trip to one of the luxury resorts (the St.Regis). Such a trip is, if played right, very good value-for-money. :)

In December 2022, I had the chance to dive with an incredible crew and fellow divers from the beautiful boat La Galigo. Simply a great place to enjoy big stuff like majestic Mantas as well as tiny Macro things. One of my favorites on this trip - the walking shark. Beautiful video ! You were lucky I was here at the same time (other liveaboard) and we saw "only" one whale shark But it was still incredible, hundreds of hammerheads at wolf, mantas at Isabela Incredible !
Love this video and the music! I am going there on the Paul Gaugin cruise in March 2026. Hope the weather is nice at that time of year there. I'm a little disappointed. I only have six hours there. Can you suggest how I can make the most of this time. We love Snorkeling and those pictures are absolutely beautiful.

Hi jakeline, thank you. I can only recommend jump into the water whenever you want. french polynesia is just beautiful. Few thinks that stand out for me, Fakarava South (for sharks), Blue Lagoon (paradise beach and lagoon even within paradise) and of course other islands such as moorea, mauptiti. My camera: drone: DJI Air2S; Water: GoPro 10; on Land: sometimes my Nikon. hope it helps,Y

Thanks a ton!, very kind. I used a GoPro 10 for under water. A DJI Air 2S for for the sky, and a GoPro / Nikon z 6 for land footage. Hope this helps.
