It looks great with the Huntress. And it is definitely great with Victorian Romantic. It's nice with Relative Tarot also. I don't use the guidebooks from Broccoli at all. I don't find them particularly insightful.

My card this year is The Hierophant and I adore the Hermit so I'm all in for a Hermit year 🤭 I love the way every time you mentioned or brought up that you have only yourself to rely on, the cards kept telling you about your spirit guides, your angels. They were telling you they're around you, helping you, despite the fact that you can't see them. Maybe you're Hanged Man year is you coming to accept, not just acknowledge, that you only have yourself to rely on right now. Maybe once you stop "looking" for that someone else, they'll make themselves known. What a beautiful reading for yourself 🥰

It's Joy :) Yep, I'm aware of the POESIS Book, I already purchased the French edition which comes with a book of the poems but not the creator's notes; I have to say I have the Poesis Book in my Etsy basket..... Tricky, as I told myself that in 2025 I will aim to buy less or not at all if possible.... These decks, the art, the messages make it tricky though lol My favourite combo was Poesis with the Wandering Tarot, they looked as if they were made for each other! So beautiful! By the way, the Composition Oracle looks fab, but does not ship to the UK, I checked :( Too bad, as I really liked it, B/W is my favourite art style for the most part. I chose Pile #2, and wow! You should soooo get the art edition of Serpent and the Peacock - it is AMAZING! I got the “seconds” and there was nothing wrong with it, a slight ding on the book.

Also a GenX! 😄👏🙌 You know I agree with you, we had this chat days ago; either MM publishers will reconsider their cardstock & reasonable card sizes or I stop buying MM decks, problem solved! I have to say I also take issue with the oracles' card sizes; my personal preference is for them to be tarot card size, I almost never buy large oracles; and when I do, I usually buy from other countries/in other languages, because they stick to tarot size oracles, their cardstock is divine, and the whole presentation of the product is lovely, value for money and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed this video, you sound reasonable to me, I don't think you ranted, simply expressing your opinion as a valued customer 👍 I sincerely hope the publishers start listening or, sooner or later, they will see a nosedive in their sales. The card stock is why I sold on the Sacred Forest by Denise Linn. From the moment I broughtit the picture started wearing off and chipping away. I love her decks and this deck was an amazing deck. I have Sun and moon It doesn't separate like that, but I just over hand suffle. It is a thoth deck but there is no reason why you can't read it how you want. I think MK Cullinane has gone to Hay House but I don't like Hay house card stock and print because it rubs off. I also have the Radiant wise spirit and I overhand shuffle and the card stock is terrible. I like boarders now too because of card stock🤗💖

Ok i did it ordered it for my christmas to myself. I love jame's ead 's decks, they are very magical. I have two. One is his portal card game that doubles as a oracle. Next was the mini cosma deck thats in a tin. Any order from him cool packaging with lil goodies tucked in. I was looking for that one deck for christmas. Every reading i do includes the cosma thats how special they are, vert potent and magical, but sadlynthey are minis. So i was going to get cosma full size till i saw mirra, 2 in 1 so beautiful so happy i ordered it. Ty fo sharing, great review.

Hey Edith, it's Joy 😃👋 So medieval themed decks are not my cup of tea, probably because I grew up in a very religious-oriented family & society and have since grown to dislike them deeply; it's a matter of memories and how they affect us. But I own the Oracle of the Roses and I love it! I very much enjoy it's negative space (and I've realised that it's my personal preference, for decks to have "breathing" space, to let me piece the message together stress-free) and the author's knowledge on the subject, the quality cardstock & the fab gilding don't hurt either 👌😉 I have Botanical Inspirations in my wish list, because I enjoy oracles with keywords; I find that not having to go through stacks of books/lengthy internet searches saves time best used focusing on the message trying to be conveyed. But I'm still sitting on the decision of buying it.... Hm, will probably go ahead and buy both Botanical Inspirations & Woodland Wardens together next year (funny story; you know how you sometimes put a deck in your basket and then you take it out and you do that again and again? Yeah that's me with these 2 decks!😂🤦‍♀) I also own SOTW Beltane and I love it! It's bold, well researched and doesn't mince words; I respect that! I only wish they had keywords under the art instead of the small somewhat abstract paragraphs... Funny story, I actually prefer the 2nd/current artist compared to the 1st... goes to show how different people have different tastes! I love that! I have always liked the Wildwood Tarot, but never bought it because I can't put my hands through it's huge size... But I respect it a lot in terms of research, lore, and artwork. I also like Green Witch Tarot, but I found that one of my deck preferences has to do with cardstock; therefore, I will not be buying MM decks with flimsy cardstock, I will instead save my money and buy indie or MM decks with proven good quality cardstock. Hey Edith, it's Joy :D I am a silver colour/gilding/Moon girl, and so these kind of decks are not my aesthetic, but I liked what they tried to do with the Surrealist Tarot; I also enjoyed the different perspective of the Vice Versa Tarot (yes I know it's a weird concept and it requires you to look beyond the usual, perhaps that's the strength and the extra message of the deck itself, that one step further); I have the New Vision Tarot which is a similar concept to the Vice Versa, only you see the archetype's back and you understand it on a deeper level. My best "pumpkin" tarot/Halloween themed (sorta...) is (and you will appreciate this especially 😄) my soulmate Sleepy Hollow Tarot by Nickolas Lawyer! 😍🤩 L❤ve it💯!! Hm, the Romantic Tarot was high drama situations lol The Tarot of Sexual Magic is honest, I like honesty 👍 Never heard of Decameron Tarot before, and again I appreciate it's honesty 👍 Thanks for showing us your collection Edith, I enjoyed that it opened my eyes to decks I don't have or never heard of before, and that's always good. Will try and put it on my next to buy list after the 5C Tarot & 2P Oracle (which you already know I am really keen on getting 🤩)! I loved your views re your YT channel and creativity in general! Very honest, reminded me of myself actually 😄, and coming from a level-headed person and you have my respect (in fact I was clapping 😄👏🙌)! I enjoyed ALL of the pairings you made (you have some lovely decks!) Roots & Wings is such a lovely deck w enough negative space that lets the reader breathe and so yeah I liked all of the pairings, but if pressed I'd say the: 1. Lights Seers, 2. Naked Heart and 3. Wildwood were my best combos! BTW, The Wild Unknown has never "spoken" to me, dunno why, which is strange because the Alchemy Oracle is one of my top oracles and I use it daily! Hi. I've never seen the Black Line tarot before. It's very interesting. I've toyed with getting Heart and Hands off and on. I think my hesitation with it is that the perspective feels inconsistent. There is a lot of first person perspective and then other cards have close ups of the figure. I think I would have preferred if it was all first person perspective. Black Water tarot is another I've never seen before. I've always felt the Poe tarot would have worked better as an oracle. Maybe try working with it that way and see. Ugh, those huge titles on the Phantomwise. I have a hard time with any botanical tarot deck and one in black 'n white really wouldn't work for me. Wandering Moon is one pip deck I do really like. I prefer the Midnight edition tho, that's the one I kept. I forgot about the Wandering Soul oracle. I might have to put that on my wishlist. I missed out the Lua, I hope there is going to be a reprint. I always thought Tongues of the Mother was an interesting concept. I would have preferred if they did not use plain pips tho. Earth Magick is in purgatory rn, it's so cool but I have other decks I reach for other than it. Poesis is so good! Using it to tell a story is a cool idea. I let go of Untamed Spirit, I never used it. Same for Wild Mystic. Neither hit the mark for me. I was so annoyed with the way the book table of contents works. Also Wild Mystic felt like the sad cousin of El Goliath.

This deck is a pleasant surprise. I got them at a used bookstore for really cheap and I thought they were just “okay” at first glance. I happened to use them in a reading for a call line and they have been spot on and highly accurate. I’m so impressed that I came searching to see if anyone else had discovered the magic in these simple little cards.. thanks for your review❤

Considering who ran education and the main languages spoken, it makes sense that Hoodoo is hard to distinguish from European folk magick. Considering the structure of tarot and intention of particular inclusions in particular decks, it it important to review or reference with the books for a deck. It is harder to get the every card is a good card and a bad card bit with this deck, but it does help address more than the easy side of life.

Rachael Jean & The Wandering Moon Tarot is my absolute favorite. I actually have the whole collection myself. Including the Midnight Sky edition of the tarot (The whole reason i found out about her cuz i love these) & her recently release Cosmic Pink pocket edition. All her decks are currently still available, with the exception of the original being retired once it finally sells out due to thieving of her art & someone producing knock of decks.

If I ever get to finish with my rough draft design ideas so on and so forth for the Tarot deck ive beenworking on that I want to make I definitely am going to have to send you a deck just because you did this and I think you would appreciate the fact that i plan on it being slightly smaller than normal tarot size cards since I'myou've got tiny hands maybe not as small as mine but still tiny I know you would appreciate having a deck that is actually made with people like us in mind

When I showed her this she was like oh my goodness I might be able to do that with my small hands cuz her hands are actually smaller than mine and she has such a hard time shuffling anything it's just I feel for her I'm sorry that I have commented so much but I don't really have any other way to say anything except for blowing up your comment section LOL please forgive me
