My two ended up in their own tank because they tried getting on my six inch at the time bala shark and my acara when they were only about maybe 2inches. 😂 right then i knew they would be trouble . Suggestion...get you a sheet of that clear double paned ribbed polycarbonate and you can make tops for the new tank. That poly will let you cut it with a razor knife however you want to fit all your equipment. Help keep the fish and water in the tank.

Bettas can and will kill guppies. Usually bettas are kept alone because their aggression or in pretty big tanks with other not other big finned fish idk what kinda guppies you had typically feeder guppy are your safest type of guppy to pair with them. some of the other fish may have got them too as guppy are not typically aggressive.

cmon man, these are fishtanks for kids bro, u have mainly plastic in them do better than that, get into nature aquariums and aquascaping

Those sharks might have been the culprits to why those fish died. They can be some aggressive fish alot of times.

Those African cichlids are a male and female Kenyi. The males turn yellow and the females stay blue.

I love african cichlids used to breed them years ago but that isnt a johanni as the stripes are the wrong way they should be horizontal this looks more like a kenyi maylandia its a beautiful fish . The african cichlids like a over stocked tank so they dont fight . Also i think the yellow one could be the same fish and you have a male and female as they change colour to yellow when there males i could be wrong but go check them out on google

Feeding feeder fish is not needed. Besides ethical considerations it's a good way to spread disease to your fish.

Soaking equipment in white vinegar and water is good for getting all the build up off .. i wish my son would give me a tank for christmas great gift

You should put some net over the filter when you switch it on so it all gets caught instead of going in the tank then you can easily remove it

The stuff in the tinfoil bag is carbon and I wouldn’t bother using it all it does is take medicine out of the tank when you put medicine in there for the fish

I don't know if you had this problem yet with your Oscar. But I use to put plants in my tank for my Oscar's, and as they start to get bigger they would tear up or dig up the plants. Have you had that problem yet..?

filter floss or water polishing pad in your filters will clean out micro dust make you water crystal clear every time.

I had a huge parrot fish he was the meanest fish i ever owned his name was jaws ( and i have a video of him ) the flower horn is stunning .. you can get a small freshwater surface skinner that mightn’t help with the bits in the water

The mix of fish is pretty interesting... That flower horn looks awesome. But you are running the risk of your fish being dead from that flower horn if you add him to that tank. They are aggressive to everything 😳 that Pic and that hump says he is definitely bigger than 4"...good luck bro.

Black angelfish are beautiful i used to have some i have videos of them i also had platinum white ones and smokey blue … you need more pictus they are shoaling fish would recommend keeping about 6 absolutely amazing fish they also love to eat freeze dried tubifex also watch for its whiskers falling off it can happen…. How long have your tank been set up you should not clean your tank to much it will take out all of the good bacteria just keep your glass clean

You have a nice tank but I would recommend putting actual plants and putting root tabs also that Oscar will out grow that tank
