Quick walkthrough of the radiator removal of a 2006 town & country. Hope's this helps some of you guys who may seem lost when it comes to cars. Stay safe and keep wrenching!!! Also, wanted to say that I did end up having to remove the black strip with studs from the top of the new radiator. Easy as removing the 5 screws( 2 on one side, 3 on the other).

First I want to apologize there is no build up and I didn't get to film the races for the bearings. Second, I wanted to touch back on greasing the bearings. !!!DO NOT PACK THESE BEARINGS!!! they are lubricated via the rear end juice which fills the Hub. Finally races(if needed) can just be tapped in with a hammer using something round but with a square edge as a striking surface. Hope this help...

How did you get the top 6th bolt out of the water pump? You didn't show that. Other videos are showing to remove from the top. No wheel removal, no splash shield removal, no harmonic balancer removal. Going in from the top is a quicker less hassle way. 👍

This is exactly how my radiator has begun to fail. As time goes on the seal between the plastic and the aluminum will fail completely and it won't hold coolant for any worthwhile duration.

I almost never take the time to post a comment on videos from RUclips however, your video on the removal of intake on a 07 tundra is absolutely wonderful. So I am a 36 year old female and I really do not have a lot of experience working under the hood of a vehicle! Recently I had to replace the alternator in my 07 tundra and boy was that a B*!ch! Whoever the bright engineer was that came up with that design ....well, let's just say I definitely have some specific choice words I'd love to tell them! Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful video and taking the time to address even the minor or little things that most people do not explain or bother to point out. when you take someone like me who has never had to really do any type of mechanic work before.... well, everything is a brand new experience & not having any previous knowledge, experience, or understanding of what things are or how they work can be quite intimidating to say the least! so whenever you took the time to briefly pause to point out and explain some things no matter how minor they may have seemed before you continued on with the main task at hand, for someone like me those explanations made a world of difference with me understanding exactly what I was getting into and what I was doing because at the end of the day the majority of people seem to forget the Minor details but the way I see it is the Minor details is what pulls the whole picture together if that makes any kind of sense so you did an awesome job keep at it and thank you so much you've been wonderful help!

I agree, once the lower and upper radiator support brackets (lower and upper radiator mounts ) are removed it's not that hard to R&R the fan assembly. I took off the bumper cover though. Yet you don't have to mess with the cooling system. Thanks for the tip.👍

Snap on is great for professionals that can get the value out of the tool. Otherwise the best choice for DIY is Ryobi or other battery brands. I use my Ryobi tools for over 15 years I use them weekly. No snap on for DIY.

worst part of job is getting radiator off passenger side and fittingit back in on that side. ac hoses and fittings really get in way. Taking the grill off also helps you to see everything better.

  • @4lv8aurorak

The pump under the intake is called the secondary air injection pump and its function it to blow air into the exhaust to help speed up the catalyst
