It's unfortunate that it's not a true GMT. The bezel isn't bidirectional

I got mine for 4 grand a couple years after it came out. Recently fell back in love with this watch.

In my opinion, I prefer the Steinhart case as it is so much slimmer allowing the watch to sit closer to the wrist. Other than that, great review! Well, with the exception of the fact you finish the video re-asking the question of whether the Steinhart stands up to the Rolex... and then state that the answer to that question must wait for another video (?!). Isn't that question part of the very title of THIS video? And yet, rather than address it, you ask us to await yet another video for the answer. A bit of bait-and-switch there. Not kewl. There's no doubt Steinhart offers such great value for the money and is so very well designed. I currently own 4 Steinharts and love and wear them all. My only complaint with Steinhart will always be the clasp, which needs to be seriously redesigned to offer a two-button release. A glide-lock option would also be nice.

Not even close, the ceramic variants are superior in every objective matrix. The stamped clasp, hollow link stretch and scratch prone aluminum bezels where weakness that the new model corrected. The only appeal would be an emotional nostalgic feeling for the 5 digit reference. The other reason would be that you are diminutive in stature and build, and need a dainty wearing watch.

Could you please also do a video on how to tell if the green paper bag is authentic or fake? Also, the little piece of tissue paper on top of the green box. Is there a way to tell is that is authentic Rolex tissue paper? These things are VERY important, and I wouldn't buy a watch from someone who didn't have an authentic Rolex paper bag and tissue paper. Come to think of it, how about the air inside the Rolex boxes? Rolex injects its own "perfect" mix of hospital-quality air into the green box before closing it. The fakes just cannot duplicate this perfection.

The watch that suits a strap instead of a metal bracelet I wear my SPB147 on a vintage brown leather or black leather nato It's a strap monster and fits anything
I've had the itch for a Pepsi style watch and was almost certainly going for the Ball Roadmaster Pilot GMT which is obviously a few steps up from this. But what you said about not for every day use with the color scheme you are absolutely correct like a penny dropped. I'm buying one of these to scratch the itch and with the extra cash I'm putting this against either the Longines Zulu time 39mm or the Conquest Chrono or potentially the spirit flyback chronograph. Thanks for your breakdown on this piece it's a good looking watch with a decent movement at a fraction of the cost of the Ball. Thank you sir💪⌚
Thank you for your comment and You are welcome 😇 I love Longines Zulu time 😍more than the hydroconquest. Hydroconquest crown lugs are very sharp on the fingers when using the crown.

Depressing the amount of effort gone to, to make a fake watch. Even more depressing wearing a knock off Rolex and passing it off as the real thing

I have ziarex replica watch, and when I see this video, I cant help but cringe. Theres no comparison to be made, its like a toy watch competing against a original.
Cancel ziarex and mega clone watches. They are destroying the whole community of original watches and becoming a threat to the economy and dignity of Rolex.
Screw ziarex! They sell mega clones that are passed off as originals in the aftermarket, causing people like me to lose money.
