So cool.
Space..the final frontier
Beautiful rendition and man do I miss that old music! So full of hope and primise
Great job!!
She might be 58 years old but the design is timeless and beautiful.
This is lovely ❤
Could snw start an episode exactly like this please. I would probably cry lol.
Awesome.
I only have 2 nits to pick: the impulse engines should not be glowing (running) when at warp and the warp nacelles should have the blue light radiators lit up on the sides. Even though not shown in the series for technical reasons, the coolant for the warp nacelles has to be as shown in all later Star Trek vessels.
Good looking out ! Now sit back and enjoy your Romulan ale with the rest of us and relax bro.
Wow, more please
I grew up watching TNG in the mid 90's. I've never experienced TOS or even the TMP movies up untill my late teenhood. But then i realized this and the Constitution refit are probably the most beautiful and gracious starships in the series. I am not saying the other Enteprise ships were not beautiful in their own way. It's just that the original ships had something that they weren't able to reproduce later. Kinda like with certain women, don't have to be beautiful, she just has something strikingly attractive about her. Cheers!
Beautiful Lady
Hello... this looks really nice. I need to do something similar for a client. Any chance of sharing how you did this? Thanks.
Dont get me wrong the tos Enterprise is good but god damm that neck is way to high for my liking and to smooth
Cool if I use this for a Star Trek spoof?
Imagine if Strange New Worlds had hired this guy and had given him 1000x, or even 100x more resources. It frustrates me. Nice work @Aggi.
That was my favorite theme. Set up great anticipation.
Loving all these ST recos since Picard s3 😍
Nice!! Its hard to wrap your head around that something like this in space is some 20 light years across!!!!
"All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by...."
Yeah , I love it !! 😎👍
My gosh! That was wonderful! Or should I say, beautiful? How about both?
And, that is a nice looking planet. Is it based on any specific one from the show, or did you just invent it?
Amazing you got some skills there really nice well done !
👍Looks Good what version of lightwave did you use?
I use Lightwave 3d 2018, but you can make this nebula with any version from 2018 and above.
@@aggi250 I see I was just curious if you used VDB's I am guessing this is Hypervoxeks. I still have the content from LW10 that came with Nebula. Yours is much better. Go you have IFW2 I have used these procedures to make cool Nebulas in the past. There organic presets rock. I wish they were still for sale honestly they are the single most used of my Third party plugins. Thanks again.
3020.03
@@tonysheilds4681 It is all native Lightwave 3D - no third party plugin or anything. I created a null, set the properties to volumetric and edited the nodes with a FBM-Node (with a contrast of 95%) and a color-gradient from an old hypervoxel nebula. Connect the FBM-Node Alpha with Scattering Scale, Texture, Texture Density and the Gradient Input. Then connect the Gradient Color to Scattering. But you can try another 3D-Texture. Good Luck!
Looking good, using the same base fractal I often do for nebulas. Scattering colors is of your own liking, you could boost the color difference up though, (generally) Nebula gases goes from a range of yellow orange brown to greenish cyan. And you do not necessary need a gradient for that, you can use only scatter and absorbtion colors, but gradients may be simpler of course if you do not know how to tweak the scatter colors. You could maybe try and break the nebula fractal up with other fractals in to position and rotation inputs. Stars could use maybe that typical red purple look, and perhaps a 45 degree rotation. Also, the actual light of the stars inside the nebula, could use some falloff to affect the nebula gas itself, takes longer time to render and solve noise though.
Hello Prometheus, thank you very much for your hint. I will try this out! 🙂
Neat. Are those particles or textured 3d objects?
They are neither particles nor textured 3d objects. It's a null with volumetric, matching texture and a gradient.
Looks quite realistic. Good job!
Hello Aggi, Interesting rendering. What did you use for this test? - Hypervoxels - New Volumetric system - VDB - something else
Hello Eric, I used a null and set it to volumetric and then - try and error! For the color I used a gradient from an old hypervoxel nebula.
Your CGI Enterprise looks gorgeous, but I thank God that the original Star Trek wasn't plagued by obnoxious TMP warp FX. It never needed them.
They broke the mold twice with this ship, in her original configuration and her refit mode.
Me likey
the doomsday machine
YES! You have reintroduced the magnificence and beauty of the original Enterprise. Indeed, you have raised it to the precise level of the TMP Enterprise, which I thought would NEVER be matched. You have earned my thanks, my admiration and my respect.
Looks fake.
Well, you're not wrong. This IS a work of fiction.
@@MattJohno2 If you're trying to make a joke, okay. But fiction can look real.
Ah!!! Only a 3 digit registry!! Probably began life as a single nacelle Hermes Class Scout!!!😁
This is how she should have looked in ST SNW!! They retconned her way too much! Sure, it's cool! Far better than that Jar Jar Abrahms abomination! But they should have Kept far more to the original design!
She's Beautiful Classic Starfleet with Awesome lights speed !!! 🖖👌👍🖖❤
I was told that there is zero sound in the vacuum of space.
Or this could be the constellation pre planet killer encounter! Investigating the L systems(warping in to the 4th planet!) The music is from that episode
Nope, the Serial number is NCC - 1701. Maybe the same music was used after "The Doomsday Machine".
Done right like your vid only ever makes the Enterprise look graceful, oh really cool.
The movement makes the Enterprise look so graceful.
Side note: The tune playing sounds like the opening scene from "The Doomsday Machine" episode. IIRC, it was the only episode that had this dramatic arrangement for its opener.
And, I am sure it was used for adventures after that episode, too. 👍
Nice music selection. From the opening of one of my favorite episodes "The Doomsday Machine."
good work ... but this clip should have been accurately titled. This is not footage from the original series.
I LOVE IT FANTASTIC
Has the D came out of warp in TNG?
Looks more like the Kobayashi Maru training simulator
Beautifully done. Wished when TOS upgraded the effects to CGI, wished warp effects were added.
2022 and Only 69k views! CBS, take note and hire this person to work on the Pike series! If The series finale ends with this I will love you, CBS.
