We had just adjusted the coilovers on my buddy Gerry's side by side and decided to go for a test ride. Surprisingly good! Filmed holding an Iphone 10 while driving

Day 4; I play musical chairs with wheels and get the rims I'll be using ready for cleaning/painting, and continue to make room in the garage for the engine teardown 30 days to get this truck going down the road, that's what I've given myself. And to keep myself honest, I'm going to upload a video every day. Videos are uploaded the day after being recorded, so stay tuned!

Day 2; I have tires, get the rear upper shock mounts undone, and degrease under the hood. 30 days to get this truck going down the road, that's what I've given myself. And to keep myself honest, I'm going to upload a video every day. Some will be shorter (like todays and the next few due to weather) and others longer. It all depends on what I get done. I Build A Sleeve Puller : Ford8N Engine Rebuild
Просмотров 401Год назад
This '52 Ford 8N tractor is getting a complete engine overhaul. This is the first video in the series and picks up near the end of engine teardown, where I build a puller to remove the old and worn out cylinder liners from the engine block. Still a bit of learning to do with editing, but I need to get on to cleaning the block and reassembling! 00:00 Setting up the studio 01:00 Theory and machin...
That’s the dash cluster of a 06-11 p71 how did you get those 98-02 crown Vic wheels on it and which lift is that I know it’s not the 3 inch cups which is the tallest that they make for the 05-11 years unlike the 98-03 years which they make 5 inch cups for
98-02 wheels will bolt on, but they have more offset. Those are Lincoln wheels with the embossed logo on the center cap filled with bondo. Cheap 3 inch spacer lift from amazon. Fine in the back, but I want to build lift spindles for the front, suspension geometry isn't great. I lost reverse, she's been sitting.
@ wow that looks like a 5 inch lift
@@SIX4TALL with the tires, It is
hell yuh i love to see someone using their Vic like how they should be used
Hope that rear def is welded 😂
Very stiff lsd when I rebuilt and regeared the rear end. Basically a locker on anything but dry pavement
My 2010 has 2011 front seats 😂, the new PD shift levers from the Taurus/Exploders, a Tahoe Police center console - longer and taller, Police steely PPV Caprice 2013 size 18 rims with 1.5" spacers, 2001 Explodition rear coils - gives a natural 3" lift in the backend, 2003 Exploder rear struts modified with the Vic lower mount for the lower control arm - 2.5" lift naturally, ADTR front/rear heavy duty sway bars, Monroe rear shocks and all I need to upgrade is the upper control arms. The donkers sent me the uppers for the 91' Vic and there is actually a better aftermarket option now. Few other odds and ends but it gets more compliments than my truck ha ha. Working on an even bigger project now. 😂 Car looks awesome.
Sounds like a sweet setup! I'm looking at fabricating my own lift knuckles for the front to get the proper suspension geometry back, and adjustable 4 links for the rear. My driveshaft just about bottoms out in the transmission tailshaft housing, and the wheels are a bit forward, I had to trim the back of the rocker panels.
Great video! Been a while since I’ve been in a shop everyday but the content was clear and effective
Great video Mr. C. The "he is real" bit was also really funny. Merry Christmas to you too!
Thanks for the feedback Matty, hope you're well!
Had a 76. Toughest most reliable truck I ever owned.
What did you have for an engine/trans?
wow just found your channel and its so great! you're narration is so good!
Thanks for the feedback! I was hesitant to start using voiceover, but I feel I can put out a better production using it, especially with the spur of the moment stuff.
New here, but love this channel already keep it up boss
Thanks!
Back when I had an 06 p71 I took it through a state forest, there was a stock 03 f150 4x4 that had open diff's that was struggling through some mud, the crown vic had no issue.
My first was a civilian 03 with an open diff and highway gears. Amazing where that thing would go with snow tires
Good to see you’re back!
Amazing work, also sweet car
Freaking Gerry 😂
Nice truck, a lot of potential. You should sell those awesome long sleeve tee shirts as a fundraiser for the build.
Thanks Scott! That’s a tee from when I taught an adult education course on manual and cnc machining, but a great idea! I’ve had an unexpected series of events that needed my full attention, but I’ll be back on the build soon
Amazing video 🤙👍👍👍👍
Keep the build videos coming G!
You won’t want to miss tomorrow buddy!
Can't go wrong with a crown vic

My boss will be very happy that I can do my job more gooder. Thanks buddy.
Tell Tom that this lesson was on the house
This Video was very helpful, and informative. I learned a lot from you lol. Looking forward to the ford truck Mr.C
It's coming, but first the Ford tractor
You seem like you’d make a very good shop teacher 💀
It was fun. I loved the teaching, couldn't stomach the administrative stuff.
