Hi are they safe on leather
@@jezlucas3878 The problem is they leave a polished surface so the leather will be very slippery afterwards. I’d recommend a leather product for the leather.
Thanks for the video. I've made the move to the Osmo Action 4 and I'm using the DJI MIC 2 inside the helmet for all my videos now. I'm mostly pleased with the set-up so I think I'm going to stick with it.
@@RamblinManMoto cheers Buddy. I’ve just subscribed to your channel 👍🏻

These pads stop great but they still squeak on my 23 int650, so annoying! only the Rear squeaks.
@@wallycleaver1046 mine are fine. Did you refit the anti squeal shims?
@@VFRMitch I ended up truing the stock set on a grinding wheel, and then gluing them in. It has now been good for 200miles around town riding. Thanks
Great video,, very informative!

Hi man!! Pretty good video!!
@@DiegoGadelha-w5q cheers 👍🏻
Good job we know that exhaust sound doesn’t translate well to video as TBH, that sounded pretty crap!! I believe you when you say it sounds good but it just doesn’t come across as such in the video. My VFR CT came with a Delkavic exhaust (and the OEM one) which sounds okay. I definitely need to see/hear a few others to decide if I’ll ‘stick or twist’! 🤔😎
How is the sound from the Mic when your helmet is open, for example, you're at a set of lights with the lid up, does it still pick up your voice?
@@DrummerOnTwoWheels it works just fine. I’ve some new content coming out in the next few weeks which I’ll test this for you. Keep tuned.

Nice one buddy. Was great to see you there 🫡
Good to catch up with you too Bud 👍
Nice mate. Very nice
I went up it on Thursday Dave on the New Himalayan. It was a Virgin track then and relatively straight forward. By the time this was filmed on Saturday afternoon it was severely dug up and rutted. They were only allowing the big boys toys up. I naturally ignored the recommendation by others to leave it alone 😂😂
@@VFRMitch haha. I’m sure you smashed it!
I came in a day later and past the VIP camping looking for a place to pitch my tent. I noticed that the VIP camp was far away from the main event, is that correct ? Concidering to take the VIP ticket next year, but not if i have to walk 2 miles evrytime to go to the main stage
@@triskelworkshop2855 I was right at the top near the toilets and sign in. You can camp lower down the field near the crossing to get in near the main drive on the way in. Depends how noisey you want it.
Blimey, you obviously can load those Himalayan's up !!!, that looks like alot of gear.......
Really enjoyed that, thanks for making the video!..was even bigger than I imagined!..some lovely bikes there, those X-Capes do look the business. Personally, I’d pick a Transalp but I am a bit of a Honda fanboy so I’m biased ha ha..great stuff mate, thanks again, Mark

@VFRMitch Wow, I might think about it for next year 🤔
@@Ainsworth-Riderwait until you see my next vid James. Riding off-road for the first time. I loved it ! The Himalayan was epic 👍
Are you missing the crosstourer mate .
I most certainly did on the 350 mile motorway round trip. Albeit the Himalayan was built for terrain like the Bridgestone Trail ( which is the next video to go up !) Someone did take their Crosstourer on the track. I’d be interested to know how they got on 😮
I thought I was early, you beat me by an hour 😻

Hi mitch, u got the info where you ordered the filters from
It’s some time ago now. I think it was from M&P on eBay. Hope this helps.
You'd only notice a difference in mpg with around town driving, low rpm, idle.
Bro antha insulated brake piston link pls
useful tips ! Thanks
Im 172 cm, less than 80 kg, but Im getting by on the crosstourer, I have to be very careful on my stops, but I absolutely enjoy this bike
Hey there, I came over after watching RythmicBiker’s latest video. I was intrigued by the title of your channel. My son Mitchell rides a 1985 Honda interceptor, a VFR 700!!
With the discontinuation of the model. Will there be any issues if we need to replace the drive shaft? I am looking at an used bike that is over 120k km 9year bike. I am looking to hold on the bike for more than 10 years.
Hi, Thanks for watching the video. Many of these bikes have got past 200-300 thousand Km with very few issues. It all depends on how the bike has previously been looked after and serviced ( including shaft oil ) . The longevity of any bike is pot luck. I’d maybe try and look for one with less miles on if you are planning to put a lot of miles on yourself. They are not expensive to buy. Many bargains to be had. Especially in the UK.
Where are riding on this video???
Hi Steve . It was part of the Wildbad 2023 event towards the venue. I think it was Derbyshire way. Not exactly sure. Was part of a massive convoy of over 100 bikes.
Do this fuel x have any bad effect on the engine of interceptor in long run.. ??
Thanks for watching. I don’t have enough miles on my bike to comment long term. As far as I understand it helps the bike run more efficiently.
Excellent Explanation good service to Humanity and Riders Thanks next time give some technical details any brake down maintenance
I treat myself to the exact same helmet last year in the exact same colour, it’s very quiet and very comfortable, just a shame it’s very expensive 😂 I tried it with and without the extra breath deflector and it really makes a difference to help prevent steaming up in bad weather. 😎👍
Cheers for watching Steve. It is indeed a quality lid. They look great too. Did you find it better with or without the deflector. I’ve still to work out my best option. Stay safe Mate 👍
@@VFRMitch definitely better with, not only stops your breath hitting the visor as much, but seems to divert the air flow up onto the visor better as well.
Mate thanks for the mention. Great vid and explanation. I mount mine in the housing of the vent and it’s like it’s meant for that. I did fill the vent in with sugru though. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for explaning that. I must have missed that in the video 😅
Good video man 👍 Where does the microphone receiver go, is it fixed to the camera?
Hi Tony. Thanks for watching. The receiver is built into the camera itself !! 👍
Ah that's interesting, is the Microphone the Rode wireless. Or a dji microphone transmitter that comes with the camera 🤔
@@CrosstourertonyThe mic recording the in garage vid is the Rode wireless ontop of a Sony Camera . The mic recording on the bike footage is the DJI Mic 2. It works wirelessly with the Action 4.
Mate great vid I sit mine in the air vent housing of my aria helmet it holds in well. Thanks for the mention much appreciated. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@CRAZYLEGSONABIKE Thanks for watching mate. I think it’s the way forward. DJI need to make a bike comms. It’d sweep up. Their battery and range technology must give them an advantage.
Nice video. One thing: there is no need in removal of the plastic DCT clutch case cover. The cover of the DCT filter should clear the plastic cover when being removed. In the worst case just loosen the three plastic cover bolts to gain more space. Cheers!
Thanks for watching. I know that bit was incorrect and not needed. At the time I didn’t know and was learning.
Do we have to change the pipes? Or stock Pipes will do?
Thanks for watching. I swapped my pipes first so can’t honestly say. You should still notice a difference.
Good cause and brave to go out in that weather, far too cold for me. I used to do things like that when I had heated gloves, jacket etc but my old bones won’t survive it anymore so I’ll just be a fine weather boy as they say
Looking I’d plenty of layers and never felt cold.
Hi do you have the order details for the power bronze hand guards, the gel side protectors and the gel seat by any chance. Cheers

Great video! Brief question, after installing the FuelX should we do a first 10-15 min run on the engine idling for the ECU to recognize the change? Or just do it and go for a ride?
Thanks for watching. I let it idle for 10-15 minutes and then turned it off. It’s been spot on 👍
@@VFRMitch Great! Tks
