BRACES & RETAINERS- INVISIBLE STRAIGHT JACKETS ON OUR NERVOUS SYSTEMS AND PROBLEMS THEY CAN CAUSE
I get asked all the time time why I have braces on again and I always have to tell people that when I had them on after expansion my nervous system, my neck, and my joints were not happy with where things were.
What is different this time?
There are different lenses in which to look at the oral system. Many orthodontists are taught to make beautiful smiles but as part of their training they are often not taught how to balance the joints and the neck with the bite, so that the muscles of the system are balanced at rest with the TRIFECTA also being in harmony and this can often lead to problems for the brain and many of the invisible symptoms that I have come to know.

      Hey there, for many people like myself, the tongue is too big because my jaws never developed when I was young. This is where consulting with a good airway ortho to see what they think may be a solid option. I ended up expanding at 43 years old and went from the jaw of a 5 year old to a fully grown adult jaw and now my tongue actually fits. Best of luck.

    I applaud you for wanting to help people out and I'm sure you have knowledge to share but $200/h is a ridiculous price tag for someone who is not a medical professional. Many medical professionals will charge less than that per hour for their expertise (I am one, although in a different field). Many people in the orthodontic space have lost sight of ethics. It is sad to see that patients now financially exploit fellow patients.

I also did allergy immunotherapy and feel like I saw a 30-50% improvement in symptoms and allergy attacks which I can't put a price on, but it didn't fix the sleep issue. Nothing has helped me like expansion. Ever since I literally have zero allergies ever anymore which is crazy. The excite can help but it it's a pipe size issue w clogging, not sure how much more it can do for you which is why I get the whole cost piece. Have you ever played around with the Intake System or Mute nasal dilators on Amazon. They are easy low hanging fruit that can def help sleep. My mom loves them. At the end of the day sleep breathing usually comes back to pipe size and if the pipe size is lacking it's cuz the palate is too small and thus the tongue has nowhere to go either. I would always suggest a consult with an airway ortho and just see. Good luck!

      You can find good people online and it really depends if you're good about doing the work on your own and if you do 30 min vs hour sessions. Sessions ranged from $75-150 depending on length. Just make sure you get enough good stuff and do it for about 2 months prior to create stickiness for keeping the new length once it's released.

Ive been studying this whole world in a similar way to you for over a year now since i was diagnosed with UARS, wish i would have seen this video back then tbh. I dont believe you said it in the video, but were you suffering from UARS? Like you, I have allergies and recently got turbinate reduction, hoping this would cure me, unfortunately its not helped much with UARS. Looking to expansion now but im starting from a very bad place as my IMW is only 30mm at 28 years old... To make things worse i live in the UK and we are living in the dark ages when it comes to treating conditions such as UARS. There is no one in this country that offers maxillary expansion for adults that is in anyway useful for UARS sufferers.

      Yes I had UARS. I also had intermolar width of 31mm and after expansion I am now 42. There are a number of docs you could fly in and have them do it here if that ever made sense. It's life changing and my airway is now 2x. It was a game changer. The biggest thing that SARPE/MARPE/MIND/EASE does is dramatically changes nasal volume. I battled with allergies my whole life and now I don't feel anything in my nose ever. NO post nasal drip, no runny noses, no more allergy sprays, it's insane. There are a lot of causes but in many cases people have a palate that is too small and the tongue does not fit. Therefore they can't support the weight of the head until something is done about that. In order to balance the head one needs a tongue that fits on the palate coupled with a balanced occlusion, tmj joints, and upper cervical vertabrae.

Does this mean we can submit our own images to Dr Zhagi as part of the consultation and save the cost of the cone beam if we have our own? I inquired about the surgery fee and while it’s not outrageous , the thing that’s going to hinder me from actually going forward with it assuming I am a good candidate, are the myofunctional fees before and after . Makes me sad because I really wish I could do this but the therapy costs on top of the surgery itself , I just cannot manage unless I put it all on credit and just make minimum payments for who knows how long.

    Thank you for sharing... Question How long did it take you to be able to breath somewhat after this procedure?? I just got it done 8 days ago and my nose is literally blocked, no mucus just congested ever since the procedure I see alot of reviews and people say they start seeing results withing 5 days But that doesnt seem to be my case im beginning to think it did not work and i really dont what to go back to nose sprays (fluticasone propionate) Sorry for the long comment I really hope to hear from you soon Thanks

      @projectairwayigprojectairw1448 11 месяцев назад

      It took me like 2 weeks. It was weird in the sense that I felt blocked like you for a solid 10 days but I could feel that the mechanics in my nose changed after a few even though I was blocked and then right around 2 weeks it was magic. I would just go with it and be patient. The good stuff is coming!

    Hey, thank you for sharing your journey! I also have breathing issues & brain fog / fatigue , I am booked in for the SARPE in a few months, as well as the plans for Double jaw surgery in the future due to narrow palate & airway. But I also have a nasal valve collapse & a deviated septum & a nasal polyps. Did the specialist you saw mention anything about a Septoplasty & possible Rhinoplasty fixing the cause also? My surgeon has booked me in for a Septoplasty at the same time as I go in for SARPE. Just curious to know if I should be looking into this procedure you have had? Thank you,

    • @ambergordon352
      @ambergordon352 11 месяцев назад

      Also, is this procedure very similar to turbinate reduction?

    • @projectairwayigprojectairw1448
      @projectairwayigprojectairw1448 11 месяцев назад

      I had already had a septoplasty 2 years prior to my expansion. If I knew what I do now I would expand, then make sure the tongue lives on the palate with good oral posture and then I would have had the Vivaer and Septoplasty done at the same time. Most docs aren't going to tell you this because most ENT's are never going to pass on $$ and tell you to expand first and them come back. But if your tongue can't fit on your palate and they are fixing your septum there is no support underneath it and it's just going to happen again!

    • @ambergordon352
      @ambergordon352 11 месяцев назад

      Thank you for your response, Yeah that makes total sense. So rather than getting Septoplasty done at the same time at SARPE, I should wait till the expansion is corrected first?

      @projectairwayigprojectairw1448 11 месяцев назад

      @@ambergordon352 I would ask your surgeon. About this and if the septum doesn't have the support, how is it going to hold. What I am saying is that when you have the septum fixed is having an ENT that does the Vivaer Procedure and you can't get both done at the same time because oftentimes people with collapsed palates also have nasal valve collapse from lacking the tongue support on the palate!
