the only reason Xeno Jiiva is as big as the Safi is because the Xeno was incubated in the everstream where it absorbed a lot more energy than the Safi later on...at least is what I think

Xeno'Jiiva is honestly my favorite monster in this game. It's design and the whole fight with him is so good.

Xeno being a bit smaller than Safi makes me wonder if Mother Safi’s die from laying their eggs, cause eggs DONT GROW in size when they’re incubating, so i wouldn’t refer to Xeno as a “baby” upon realizing that. Much more Xeno comes out of a cocoon rather than a soft egg like a snake egg or a hard egg like a bird egg so Xeno would’ve HAVE to have had a wingless larvae state. Larvae usually eat alot before cocooning and characters in-game (3rd fleet master) theorized that Xeno consumed other lifeforms to grow. I find this extremely similar to larvae who eat to grow before building up their cocoon with their silk much like a moth silkworm or a chrysalis (skin casing) for butterflies, both moths and butterflies who are extremely frail in their wings which look almost wet when they unfurl when they emerge just like how Xeno’s skin looks malleable and squishy like a biological soft shelled crab before hardening into the red casing of a matured Safi

I like how the Godskin Noble isn't rally naked. You can see the collar and sleeves made in that suit made of fat person. Also seeing the wormface like that. I really think it might be the final evolution of the Lamprey's, or the people using he fingerprint nostrum ( which I assumed the lamprey were.) As it says taking it causes the user to feel wriggling inside. Plus the Wormfaces having lamprey mouths.

I like to think Zorah is a visitor from the scary part of monster hunter. Down in the deep sea where adult gobbule compete with namiel for food and territory (probably)

Its my personal headcanon that just like our world, there was an period in time where creatures grew to such sizes by enviroment conditions alone. Either that or they were more close related to the 5 origin dragons told in mhw book in your bedroom

MH doesn't know how to do fun colossal monsters. I haven't had fun fighting a single Dala, Zorah, Lao, Shen Gaoren, etc. They are all chores and not fun. All the colossal monster fights suck in terms of fight quality and fun factor, with the exception of Gogmazios who isn't good, he's just less sucky than the other colossal monsters.

I really dont like that they did this. Xeno had this alien design implying its like a dragon that fell from space and has this very unusal look that makes it stand out. Only for its adult form to take all that away by looking like the dragon from the 2000 dungeons & dragons movie. Like they chose the most stereotypical dragon design you see on cheap resin statues and other books. It just wasnt a smart move capcom.
