I really had a lot of fun at Eefde and I hope to be driving there again soon!
Unfortunately the powervalve housing broke, wich could have been my fault if I tightend it to much, but I'm not really sure...🫣 In the meanwhile we already replaced it and it runs great again!

5 minutes of driving at Berghem turned out in an engine failure!😨 To be honest, I have no idea what exactly went wrong. The oil to fuel ratio was 1:50 and the water cooling temp was 54°C. That's basically right. It could have to do something with the gear ratio from the crankshaft to the rear axle (12 : 80), mayby the gear of the axle was to big. If you’re ever replacing your piston, make sure to get the new evo piston in the pre evo it’s actually a pretty big difference in the way the engine picks up at 8k rpm you can even hear the difference. Also with the pre evos try and stay above 7300 rpm there’s nothing below than compared to the evo

Thx! Yes, I clean my kart after every training, I usually spend 2/3 days cleaning and preparing it, but that's only a few hours a day... Doing it 2 times a year should be fine, I just have the time and I like doing it:)

Those wet laps in the last session looked pretty good tbh. Did you change the caster to full caster? Because that is a very important change to make in the wet.
Thx, we actually didn't change the caster at all... I didn't knew that it could be so important, thanks a lot for the tip!!

Damn your driving is looking really good already! To be honest at this point (if you can afford it) i would try to buy an evo engine and start doing some races. I think you're driving is absoloutley good enough to start racing and in my experience you learn 5 times more on a race day than a test day. Keep it up man its nice to see people like you and red exions who are really dedicated and do alot on your own, i really relate to that tbh i do most of the stuff myself.

Na 11 jaar kart ervaring is de beste tip die ik je kan geven is, ga trainen. Vooral opdrukken en nektrainingen. Je kan je dan veel beter concentreren en sneller verbeteren. Ook om beter in te kunnen halen en beter inzicht te krijgen, ga wedstrijden rijden. Hoeft niet gelijk een chrono of bnl, maar een kart4fun of een lokale clubrace ergens. Het kost geld, maar je leert net zoveel als 5 trainings dagen bij elkaar.
Oke, super bedankt voor je tips!! Ik ga ermee aan de slag, hopelijk hou ik het dan wat langer uit😅 Wedstrijden zouden heel leuk en leerzaam zijn ja, ben momenteel een beetje aan het sparen dus misschien binnenkort of volgend jaar een paar wedstrijden doen... Zou leuk zijn!
What helmet do you use?
I use an LS2 helmet. Its actually a motor helmet, but I'm planning to buy a karting helmet soon, just for a bit more safety

Ik werk bij ID Engines, dat pak zat op een paspop als voorbeeld, maar die paspop ging kapot en toen mocht ik dat pak hebben, echt heel blij mee

@@HHallRacing Not really sure what tips I could give you on that... Simracing always helps, and just do a lot of research about it. Mayby you can check out Ryan Norberg's YT channel, he has some great tips when it comes to the driving!

Wat voor tandwiel overbrenging reed je daar? Lijkt erop dat je een 1000toeren mist in de top, ik zie hem niet boven de 13.100tmp komen (kan me vergissen) misschien een tandje groter gaan achter de volgende keer daar en kijken wat dat doet, dan heb je ook uit de bocht nog wat meer trekkracht. Motor lijkt wel belachelijk sterk te zijn en heel mooi te lopen! Vakwerk van Dennis van der Spoel. En mooi gereden kerel!

@@Racing_Milan ik zou de volgende keer 12/82 proberen. Dat is een bezetting die aangeraden wordt daar. Denk dat je dat echt wat gaat brengen vooral met uitkomen van de bochten. En ben blij dat mijn advies om voor Dennis te kiezen je blij heeft gemaakt.

Bumper is just from plastic, so not very heavy... But green way also works I guess!

Get some magnesium rims (mxj’s) you don’t really want to use the Aluminum silver wheels with slicks, most people only run them with wets on

One question what Kind of Trailer do you use ? It Looks really good.
Thxx, we just bought a normal trailer at first, but changed some things about it for the kart and tools/parts.
Put some more air in the tires, or go to the next softer grade.
Just use a wooden wedge and hammer it in to get starter clutch off after heating it with a hot air gun!

That's great to hear! Driving a Rotax is really a lot of fun, and it's worth it, just know it can cost quite some money and mechanical service/knowlege. It is important that you buy a good engine, I would advise an Evo, even though a non-evo isn't bad as well. If you buy it second handed, I can also advice to maybe giving it a revision, because I made that mistake, and then my engine failed... Anyways, keep up the good work, you've got some great videos on your channel already!👍🏻
Met inrijden mag je echt wel meer toeren maken. 10 minuten rijden, de eerste ronde tot 10k, dan een paar ronden daarna tot 11, dan 12 etc. Laatste paar rondjes gewoon volgasss. Leuke video weer!

Tevens, minder stuur bewegingen maken. Probeer zo weinig mogelijk aan dat stuur te hengsten, want dit kost allemaal snelheid, zodra die wielen niet recht staan ga je inleveren op snelheid.
Ja, daar heb je zeker gelijk in. Ik probeerde het zo min mogelijk te houden, maar het lukte nog niet helemaal, misschien dat ik steeds net te hard wil... Maar wel weer bedankt voor je tip! Hopen dat ik er wat op kan verbeteren binnenkort!
