Thank you so much for sharing this Danny!!! I've been wanting to hear a live version of this for the longest time. And thank you, so much even more, for this song. It resonates on a spiritual level for me. I feel this song. I used to have such a rage inside me, a burning fury that consumed me and controlled me. I was reactive and fierce. Once the reason was discovered I was able to find some level of peace, but the monster, the wolf (nashoba, ulv, since I am part Chahta and part Norsk), is always there, sleeping. Right now I'm losing my mom to dementia and my ex managed to indoctrinate my daughter to hate me. Those are some heavy burdens for any man to bear, but I'm pressing on. I may have to nail some palms to trees, if I may use that wonderful metaphor. I will delight in it. Perhaps it's my lineage. I'm 1/4 Mississippi Chahta, and Norsk. I don't know the percentage because i just traced our last name back a thousand years or so and found where it changed from a noble profession to a Christianized surname. The genes for the latter are recessive, and both my parents have them, so I'm a genetic anomaly. All my childhood friends made fun of my blue eyes. All my life I've heard "Don't trust the Blue Eyed White Man!" I'm Native, a huge chunk, and I *am* a blue eyed white man.

Beautiful If it means anything to you, hearing your song Strained Glass for the first time was a turning point in my conversion. So, you're doing the Lord's work in spite of yourself which is how it always happens :) Before I converted I used to say, "I dunno if there is a God but if there is, I don't believe in him. But, I sure hope he believes in me." I'm confident he believes in you. Your music is too beautiful not to have something of the Spirit in it

Im a mechanic. Of all the songs I play at work, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Dead, etc. , they always come and ask me " who is that?" when they hear your songs. This one seems to be the favorite. Can you imagine a bunch of AC/DC, Nickelback guys, starting to get a little emotional about Stained Glass, or Wings of No Restraint? It's been good for the shop. Thanks for the songs.
