Mark Lowry of TheaterJones has a Zoom interview with the leaders of Dallas' Kitchen Dog Theater: Co-artistic directors Tina Parker and Christopher Carlos, and managing director Tim Johnson. They talk about their first event of the 30th season, a drive-in variety show called "Get Up, Stand Up! A Drive-In Celebration of Democracy" in the parking lot of their new space in the Design District. Speaking of the space, they share some good news and talk about future plans. I saw Ramey dozens of times since his early NYC Opera days, in many of his great roles. At the Met too. It’s a little shocking to see him in the character parts now. In my own mind, I guess I assumed he’d go on forever as the devil!
