I found an ancient piece of technology...
All week long I have been looking for some Florida gold. To do that, you have to pick up the trash signals. Because trash and treasure show up with the same VDI numbers. Today, the beach provided this beautiful 10k gold ring with diamonds and emeralds (diamond tester says the diamonds are real so I’m guessing the green stones are emeralds).
I went to both the beach and a park. Today’s trash signals also brought me a chain marked 14K but it looks like it’s plated. There were 3 bling rings, one is hallmarked ALE for Pandora. The Mickey bracelet is pretty cool. Disney is always fun to find. I think the shell charm might be silver but I will have to do an acid test to be certain.

I got so excited when I found this platinum and diamond ring, I cut my treasure hunt short. I went to a park first and stayed for less than an hour because I wanted to detect in the shade til it got closer to sunset. I had a 6 hour 5 park treasure hunt today. I had the weirdest find: a WWII blueprint ration token. It wasn’t metal but a surface find. So… weird. No idea how some of these things end up in parks. I found 4 pieces of silver: a seahorse pendant and 3 rings. I also picked up a bling ring, a bling necklace and what might be a bling nose ring. Had a short hunt at a couple of parks in Flagstaff. Would’ve stayed out longer except I got rained out. The best and most frightening thing about rain in Flagstaff is the closer you are to the San Francisco Peaks the more thunder and lightning you get. I think when you remove a knife from a park, you may just be saving someone a trip to the ER. We came across 6 throwing knives today while we were metal detecting. So does that mean we saved 6 ER trips? Or did the person who left these get rushed to the ER? We went back to the park we were at yesterday, since we found some really nice wheaties and foreign coins and were hoping to find more. As luck would have it, we found really nice jewelry and only one foreign coin - a 1951 Fijian halfpenny with King George the 6th (Queen Elizabeth’s dad) listed on it. It was our first coin from Fiji. I had a short waterfront park hunt followed by a short beach hunt. The only real piece of treasure was this silver cross. Not sure what kind of stones are in it but it’s very pretty. I also picked up a pendant that is very trashed and that won’t look pretty until it goes into the tumbler. Both of the rings are bling. And I picked up less than $3 in change. This 10K ruby ring was the find of the day at a park in Phoenix. The park we went to is super busy with people - lucky for us, most of these people are pretty careless with their coins and jewelry. 2 sterling silver rings today, a couple of crosses, a pentagram pendant 🤔, a bling ring with a huge stone, 2 toy cars, a 1957 wheatie, a 1959 nickel, a feng shui coin and over $17 in change! The two unknown items go on the pull chains of ceiling fans. They look alike but are different. That's how you can determine which chain is for the fan and which chain is for the light.

Your video seems very well made, but I can't hear a word you're saying. I have the volume up completely, and I still have to put on the captions to even understand what you're saying. The problem is the captions.Cover a lot of the picture so it's hard to see what you're finding. You need to invest in some inexpensive microphones.
